My first bet was on some Wei Yi game. He was playing black vs some not-too-famous Russian GM who was rated 2600-2720. $200 bet and I won $800. That was exciting, and I realized I stumbled upon a season-long fantasy sports type of thing, so I decided to play on. I honestly might not have played on if that bet failed, lol. But to the joy of many here, I got hooked and stayed! I must have joined the season a bit late because I don't remember a beisbol bet.
