| Apr-23-17 | | User not found: This game is addictive as hell. I just went back through the kibitzing to the time I qualified for the CL and me, Fred and Pitapino had a good laugh. Fred accusing Syd Barrett of plagiarising Yoda and posting a link as proof was one of those literally LOL moments. Accidental comedy :) Anyways I just wondered if you're having a P3 tomorrow Mr Bookie? I'm planning on winning a leg, I qualified before but I don't think I was in 1st place. |

 | | Chessgames Bookie: <User not found:Anyways I just wondered if you're having a P3 tomorrow Mr Bookie?> There will be at least one possibly two more Pick 3's before this tournament is over <User not found>. You'll just have to wait to find out when. A good bookie never reveals his modus operandi . |
|
| Apr-23-17 | | User not found: Okay dokey Mr CB. I'm going with an old tactic this leg. I'm going to put all my cbs on one round.. If I lose I can borrow large amounts from the Shylock (who should be indicted on RICO charges, lol) because going by my previous kibitzing here I went from the basement to top 20 in one round using the loanshark, |

Apr-25-17
 | | Chessgames Bookie: Tomorrow (Wed. 4/26) is a rest day for the Gashimov players. I will see if I can post a couple of games from the Reykjavik
tournament(Round 9). It may take awhile because the Round 8 games are still in progress as I write this. This is an Open
so they won't have the pairings ready until well after the 8th round games are all completed. |
|
Apr-25-17
 | | Annie K.: When the pairings are known in advance, like at Shamkir, I usually like to put up the bets for the post-rest-day round early; they will accumulate bigger pools that way, especially good for Pick Threes and exotics. Plus this makes sure there's always something to bet on. ;) |
|
Apr-25-17
 | | Chessgames Bookie: Games have been posted from the Reykjavik Open 2017 upcoming Round 9. |
|
Apr-26-17
 | | Chessgames Bookie: I will be posting games for the final 10th round of the Reykjavik Open 2017 so stay tuned. |
|
Apr-26-17
 | | Chessgames Bookie: Anish Giri leads the pack @ the Reykjavik Open 2017 with a score of 7.5/9. There are 10 players tied for 2nd thru 11th place with a score of 7/9. If Giri wins he wins the tournament. If Giri draws it will probably come down to tie-breaks. I have posted a couple of games from the upcoming final 10th round. Place your bets on what should be an interesting finish. |
|
Apr-27-17
 | | Chessgames Bookie: Congratulations to GM Anish Giri on winning sole first place in the Reykjavik Open 2017 with a score of 8.5/10. There was a 4 way tie for second (Van Foreest, Movsesian, Gupta & Kamsky) each with 8/10. |
|
| Apr-28-17 | | scout118: <WinKing> Why betting lines for all round 8 except So-Radjabov? Need to place some max bet chessbucks. Let the first move bet be an extra line for those who like this type of line. Thks. |
|
Apr-28-17
 | | Chessgames Bookie: I move the players in & out of the line-up <Scout118>. I will rarely put up all(5) of the games head to head, maybe once in each tournament. It was Round 4 for this tournament. Besides, I had not put up a 'first move' bet yet for this tournament. GM So is the best candidate because he plays all four of the main opening moves. |
|
| Apr-29-17 | | scout118: You can do both So-Radjabov AND first move PLUS over-under or any combination of additional bets. We see this all the time with Carlsen-Anand or any top player games to maximize betting. Just a suggestion for your kind consideration if not now, then in future. |

Apr-29-17
 | | SwitchingQuylthulg: As far as I can tell, betting for the final round of the Gashimov Memorial is currently closing an hour late. |

Apr-29-17
 | | Chessgames Bookie: <SwitchingQuylthulg: As far as I can tell, betting for the final round of the Gashimov Memorial is currently closing an hour late.> Yes the final round begins 14:00 hrs. Shamkir time. The closing times have been corrected on the events. Thanks <Switch>. |

 | | Chessgames Bookie: We will be off for a few days until the 2nd FIDE Grand Prix Series starts(May 11th-May 22nd). Right now there is really not much of interest going on. If I find anything of interest in the next few days I will let you all know. |
|
May-02-17
 | | Chessgames Bookie: I am looking at the Premier League Russian Teams 2017 Championship which takes place in Sochi, Russia & runs from May 1st thru May 10th. There may be a few games we can post from that. My Russian isn't very good so stay tuned. |
|
May-03-17
 | | Chessgames Bookie: I am waiting to see if they post the pairings for the Russian Team Championships. The men were off today & there is still one game going in the women's segment. If they get some pairings up within a reasonable amount of time I will post a few games. |
|
May-03-17
 | | Chessgames Bookie: I have not seen any pairings posted for the Russian Team Championships 2017. There is now less than 10hrs to go before round 3 begins. Too little time to build up a respectable betting pool. Will try again in round 4. They may not be releasing the pairings until the round is about to begin. |

May-08-17

May-08-17
 | | Chessgames Bookie: I cancelled the bets for Round 6 of the Russian Team Championship 2017. I thought today was an off day & they played tomorrow but I see that round 6 is in progress now. Someone upstairs just does not want us to bet on this event...I tried. |

If his website below is any indication it does not show him playing in this event. I will list the 18th player as 'OTHER' in the 'Pick the Winner' bet for this event. http://hikarunakamura.com/ |
