Sure <chessgames> give them their payday. The extra chessbucks they get will eventually find their way into my pocket. ;)

Chessgames Bookie: Ok, I have found a couple of games we can post for tomorrow from the 'Spring Chess Classic' being held in St. Louis, Missouri U.S.A.. I would really like to post a few games from the 'Top 12 - French Team Championship 2017' tournament. The problem with Team events is that they don't post the pairings in a timely manner. So no promises there.

I will have a few games up & running soon.

May-22-17  User not found: Top man Mr Bookie.. I plan on having a good run this leg, more P3's if possible :)

You'll see a few more P3's <User not found> come the Norway tournament June 6th. A bit of a 'dry spell' for the next two weeks I'm afraid. We have already had 9 P3's to this point, I believe, so there has been no shortage of them.

No problem Mr Bookie. We've all had dry spells ;) It's those who moan when they've lost all their cb's and come asking for more, they should #WagerWisely :)

I know sir, I've done okay but only with the baby bets.. Everytime I bet big on the single games I just seem to break even, it all averages itself out. I need to get back to the form of 2 years ago. I think sometimes it's not a bad thing to be at the bottom of the table and get those massive loans from the loanshark because even if you do lose you can borrow more and more and more until the last day and go for... more broke, lol :)

Chessgames Bookie: Congratulations to Varuzhan Akobian for winning the Spring Chess Classic Group A 2017 with a score of 6/9.

I have found a few games from the 36th Zalakaros Open 2017 taking place in Zalakaros, Hungary that we can wager on.

We are nickel & diming our way to the Norway Chess 2017 tournament. Not sure we can come up with enough quality(2600 & up) games to get us there but we'll try. ;)

May-24-17  sydbarrett: Fret not, varishnakov. Only two weeks ago, I was near dead last, just like you. Negative something; I forget the amount. It matters not... I am near the top again, as destiny decrees that I be

Chessgames Bookie: Congratulations to GM's Zubov & Rapport for both finishing with 7/9 pts. in the 36th Zalakaros Open 2017. According to Chess-Results Zubov took first place after the tie break. Both of these players won their final round 9 game.

We will have a day(or two) off while we wait to see what tournament looks promising to post some games from. The Capablanca Memorial is supposed to be starting tomorrow. I am surprised none of the websites are showing much about this tournament.

http://torneocapablanca.inder.cu/Ho...

This is the line-up from what I have seen so far:

<52nd Capablanca Memorial

Elite section:

GM Ivanchuk Vassily UKR 2738
GM Cordova Emilio PER 2645
GM Sasikiran Krishnan IND 2669
GM Shankland Samuel USA 2676
GM Piorun Kacper POL 2638
GM Ortiz Suarez Isan Reynaldo CUB 2570>

Not as star studded as in past years but good enough for our purposes. Stay tuned to see what develops.

Chessgames Bookie: Ok, Chess24 has finally recognized there is a tournament going on in Cuba tomorrow. If the pairings for the 52nd Capablanca Memorial are out soon enough I will post a few games today. No pairings posted yet.

Riding high in April.

Shot down in May.

But I know I'm going to change that tune.

When I'm back on top in June.

We'll see what we can do <whiteshark>. If they get the pairings up in a timely manner I'll post a game or two provided the match-ups look good.

What about betting on the numb3rs of rd 1 upsets on the top 20 boards (at a rough estimate 240-260 ELO points difference per board) or something like that ?

There is a bet in place for round 1 <whiteshark>. Let's see how good the 'Top Ten' really are. ;)

Chessgames Bookie: Less than an hour to go before the European Individual Chess Championship 2017 begins. The odds on the 'Top Ten' bet currently stand @ about 3.5 to 1. Boards to watch are 1, 7 & 9. Not sure the 'Top Ten' can pull off the 'sweep'. On board 7 Sychev has given Ponomariov problems in the past but those were blitz games. This is the type of bet if you lose you slap your forehead & say to yourself "What was I thinking"? ;)
