Chessgames Bookie: The 'Top Ten' could only manage 7 wins out of ten games. Boards 1 (Kharchenko(2468) - Navara(2739), 2 (Andreiken(2723) - Karttunen(2465) & 7 (Sychev(2459) - Ponomariov(2712) were all draws. I think Navara may have missed winning chances in his game with 43...Rh3. Andreikin may have been a bit better in his game but Karttunen set up a fortress to secure the draw. Ponomariov gave up the exchange at move 38 going into a materially unbalanced position that he was unable to convert against Sychev. The 'Top Ten' never really seemed to be in a position at any point to win all 10 games. A day for the underdogs. Congrats to all those who said #$*% 'NO'.

Chessgames Bookie: I have added a 'Pick the Winner!' bet for the upcoming Altibox Norway Chess 2017 tournament. This will be one of the strongest tournaments ever held if not the strongest ever held. You have 3 plus days to make up your mind who you think will win. When ready 'Place your bets'!

Chessgames Bookie: I have added a bet on whether GM Carlsen will win a game in this tournament callled 'Shut Out...?'

<Will GM Carlsen be 'shut out' this tournament or will he win at least one game? Carlsen's remaining games are:

Round 7: Kramnik - Carlsen

Round 8: Carlsen - Karjakin

Round 9: Anand - Carlsen

The 'YES' ticket will pay if Carlsen does ***not win*** any of his final three games in this tournament(A Shutout). The 'NO' ticket will pay if Carlsen ***wins*** at least one of the above final three remaining games(No Shutout).>

If you think Carlsen will *win* at least one of his final three games then bet 'NO' meaning no shutout.

If you think Carlsen will *not win* at least one of his final three games then bet 'YES' meaning a shutout has occurred.

Keke;)

Good job I threw a few cb's on the old B-D-B ticket, otherwise I'd be in trouble. I usually go for a W-D-B (in fact I did that too, lol) but seeing as Carlsen "can't lose" I needed my fail-safe wager..

I'm going for it these last two rounds, no p3 Mr Bookie?
