Jun-25-17    Chessgames Bookie: Congratulatons to GM Magnus Carlsen for being the overall winner of the Grand Chess Tour - Paris tournament on a tie-breaker over GM Maxime Vachier-Lagrave. Magnus won the 'Rapid' section of the tournament & Maxime won the 'Blitz' section. When the scores for the rapid & the blitz were added together both players had 24 out of a possible 36 points. There was a two game playoff in which Magnus won the first game & the second game was drawn.
