Apr-15-07  C3r3brum: I know you are working hard, so I'll update my status now. The system works fine, it was just delayed I think. I collected my chessbucks for the won tickets just now. No problem here anymore. Thanks for a great game.

Chessgames Bookie: We have opened wagering on the winner of the Sigeman & Co Tournament, being held in Malmo, Sweden.

Sigeman & Co Chess Tournament: Winner

Apr-17-07  C3r3brum: Hi ChessBookie,

I think a great feature for the live betting table would be chessgames links to the players, when betting on a player is the only option.

regards,
CB

Apr-18-07  barbababa: <C3r3brum> Good idea! And easy to do.

Chessgames Bookie: Betting is now open on the second and third rounds of the Sigeman & Co Tournament.
Apr-19-07  Tactic101: Hey, I'm on the top ten list! For the first time and last time in my life............
Apr-20-07  Tactic101: Listen, y'all. I'm betting maximum on all my 5 bets. If I win all, I will jump by at least 800 bucks. So watch out! Of course, if I lose them all...............
Apr-20-07  dbquintillion: how did dewergo get all those bucks?!

Chnebelgrind: <how did dewergo get all those bucks?!> he has set 20 chessbucks on Tkachiev in th European championship and got 3800. I also got 1900 for my 10 carelessly set bucks
Apr-21-07  Tactic101: Yahoo! I catapulted by over 600 chessbucks this round, bringing my net worth to over 1900. Not bad...... not bad at all.........
Apr-23-07  Tactic101: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I lost all my bets today to fall out of the top 10 and into the cellar. Now, I'm gonna have to climb back the hard way.
Apr-23-07  TrueBlue: these new rules are killing me ...But Cherepinov is my new hero! Veselin who?

Annie K.: LOL. I just love it when somebody declares they have a new favorite, and then proceed to consistently misspell his name... :p

<Bookie>, since nobody can catch up with Cheparinov anymore in the Sigeman tournament, and also Negi can't catch up with Timman, could the 'Sigeman Winner' and 'Timman-Negi Head to Head' bets be paid off today? Thanks. :)

Apr-26-07  TrueBlue: ooops :blush
Apr-27-07  Tactic101: Yury, I HATE YOU!!!!!!!!! )ruins the effect by laughing) This is the second time he's played a move none of us anticipated. And I've lost 400 bucks because of that. I'm not gonna climb out at this rate
Apr-27-07  MostlyAverageJoe: <Tactic101: Yury, I HATE YOU!!!!!!!!! )ruins the effect by laughing) This is the second time he's played a move none of us anticipated.>

What do you mean none? Some of us very much did :-)

The only thing that was annoying about the last move was that I mistyped my bet. With 200 wagered instead of measly 20, I would be way higher than the current 13th...

Apr-27-07  Tactic101: I meant the bets most people had their money on.

PS: You can always bet more money on a ticket after you've made a bet, as long as the total bet is not above your betting cap. So, you could have betted an extra 180 bucks after putting down your first bet.

Apr-28-07  DCP23: <Tactic101>: <PS: You can always bet more money on a ticket after you've made a bet, as long as the total bet is not above your betting cap.>

Not always. If your limit is 200, and the minimum betting amount on a particular bet is 5 (it usually is), and you bet 196 chessbucks first and later decide to max it up to 200 there's no way to do it because the system won't accept your additional $4 bet.

Apr-28-07  Tactic101: Ah! See what I mean? I'm losing big time since I don't even know how this game works!
Apr-30-07  Chess Classics: I'm a sweet-swinging 1/10 this year, or something like that...yay.

Regards,
CC
