| Jun-19-09 | | capatal: Who would really want to know or care, about how normal people respond, to a proven common liar like you <Ed Trice>? |
|
| Jun-19-09 | | PinnedPiece: <Ed Trice: What? No witty responses? No snappy comeback lines from Rob Mitchell?> Hopefully he's trying to keep this forum on topic (see forum title up top). Everyone else is going ho hum. I've read all this stuff from you before, myself. This isn't delivering the goods like we know you are capable. Waiting for freshly distilled moonshine, not old bottled piss. . |

 | | chancho: Trice has done this before. He tries to deflect attention from himself by blaming Rob Mitchell, or Ed Labate about wrongdoing and never adequately answering any questions about the many lies he has been caught in.
I don't believe that he raised 15 million, (although he may in fact have) for a Fischer vs Karpov match.
When Fischer said no, the "event" just died down like a fart in an empty room, and the "entrepreneur" did not use his 150 IQ by using Polgar, or another player as a decent replacement to save the event. That was in 2006, why has no 'high profile' event of that kind ever been organized by Trice since? A Kasparov v Anand Gothic chess match with all that mullah? if the money was really there, who knows if Trice could have put that together.
Trice's showing of links from his own site, and clippings from a newspaper, (as well as pics of Alexis Skye) is not exactly delivering on the goods as far as real evidence imo. I remember when this Gothic thingy was first announced, how <ughaibu> did not believe it for one minute, and guess what folks, he was right! |

People don't often acknowledge the dignity of those they are trashing. As off topic as your recent posts are, let me express my appreciation for your consideration of the Fischer page. N.B. Don't know why you removed my post to you on your forum. Unless you felt the other four places were enough already. . |

What consideration? He was banned from the Fischer page. |
|
| Jun-19-09 | | PinnedPiece: <chancho> uh, yeah forgot. There's got to be something positive to say in the midst of this renewed firefight...like, well how about ...
um-mm-m
give me a minute.

| Jun-19-09 | | capatal: <Ed Trice>:Has been proven as one who likes to work common lies/cons and scams... The fabricator, genuine fabulist, constant falsifier, dedicated fibber and consummate prevaricator... No story too small or inconsequential, <Trice> can and will provide 'industrial strength whoppers', for most occasions - That's just how <Ed Trice> rolls! ... What a beauty! ("No follow-up questions, please!") Is <Trice>'s unspoken motto. As they cramp <Ed's> free-form spoof/trickster/con style and force <Ed Trice> to skedaddle prematurely when confronted with simple factual questions - all the while he's machinating accusations and fresh finger pointing attacks to impose on his next hapless victim(s). <ED's> unique in that, 'he'd much rather spoof/scam/con and lie to people on credit, rather than speak the truth for cash.' (Assuming <Trice> would be capable of discerning the truth, if it bit him on the nose or elsewhere. <Trice's proven lack of the most basic human integrity, or an observeable moral compass, has greatly encouraged the quip,... "Fool me once, shame on you! -- Fool me <Trice>, shame on me!">... around these parts. ... <Ed Trice> you are pitiful. |

| Jun-19-09 | | Riverbeast: This whole argument has become a parody of itself.
The book has been proven to be a fraud, the culprits and accomplices have been exposed. The corpse is stinking....What 'life' exists in this debate is needless window dressing, irrelevant counter charges, desperate and irrational denials, and arguing for the sake of arguing. Fischer wouldn't have wanted the stupid book to get THIS much wordplay. It's already checkmate, and it's been that way for some time. If you keep moving the pieces after the game is over, you're just playing with yourself! |
|

 | | chancho: <Riverbeast> You are absolutely right bro, But for some reason Trice wants to keep rolling on the manure. But yeah, I agree, enough is enough. |
|
| Jun-19-09 | | Jim Bartle: "Ed Trice: What? No witty responses? No snappy comeback lines from Rob Mitchell?" No witty responses? No snappy comeback lines from Ed Trice about the nonsense he wrote on the Go Big page, that I asked about a couple days ago? Gothic chess is replacing chess? Trice is "currently hosting" a match between Karpov and Fischer? |
|
| Jun-19-09 | | Jim Bartle: Apropos of nothing at all, I think "Sophie's Choice" by William Styron is a great, great novel. A little slow getting started, but otherwise great. Set shortly after the end of WWII, the narrator Stingo becomes friends with his neighbors, concentration camp survivor Sophie and her brilliant boyfriend Nathan, who is a cellular biologist working for Pfizer and closing in on a breakthrough cure for cancer. In fact at one point Nathan arrives home and dances around the apartment crowing that he has "found the cure for the Big C!" (Spoiler alert)
Later, unfortunately, Stingo visits Nathan's brother Larry, who tells him that Stingo is not a cellular biologist at all, that he's just making it all up. Nathan spends his life making up elaborate and brilliant stories. Just thought I'd mention that. Any resemblance to any kibitzer on chessgames.com is purely coincidental. |

| Jun-19-09 | | Ed Trice: Still waiting for Rob Mitchell to reply. |
|
| Jun-19-09 | | Ed Trice: Once the authorities were notified of Labate's forgery (on the legal documents sent to a P.O. Box) he sold all of his chess books for pennies on the dollar then sold his house and moved. "Nuff said"
What checkmate? |
|
| Jun-19-09 | | Ed Trice: Riverbeast, guess who is next?
(hint, it's you who spoofed all those emails, we already know it, buh bye!) |
|
| Jun-19-09 | | JonDSouzaEva: Great to see you've thought of a story for those e-mails Trice. So you're claiming that Riverbeast created an AOL account under the name "GothicChessLnfo" (with the 'L' in lowercase) and then sent all the e-mails on Edward Labate's 61 Memorable Games page?
http://www.labatechess.com/61_games...
Couple of problems with that scenario:
1) Edward Labate simply copied the e-mails and pasted them into the page, and a simple search shows that the sender was "GothicChessInfo@aol.com" not "GothicChessLnfo@aol.com". 2) The e-mails started a long time before most people, including Riverbeast, had even heard of "My 61 Memorable Games". 3) You spoke to Edward Labate on the phone several times and discussed the contents of the e-mails you had sent him (using the GothicChessInfo@aol.com account). What don't you tell the story about how you became an "English citizen" again - it's a hoot! |
|
| Jun-19-09 | | PinnedPiece: <jessicafischerqueen> I'm trying to characterize your post....Reminds me of the movie, "Over the Top" by, oh jeez, I can't remember...there's this one scene, a classic, a battle between good and evil.... Is this it?

| Jun-19-09 | | Jim Bartle: Just found out I've been banned from the Ed Trice chessforum page. "Ed Trice: Still waiting for Rob Mitchell to reply"
Still waiting for Ed Trice to reply about the Go Big pitch for investors. |
|
| Jun-19-09 | | JonDSouzaEva: <jessicafischerqueen> The main reason for keeping Trice here is so anyone who doesn't know about him will find out his full history. He's already lost out on a job recently when a prospective employer Googled his name and found this page and Edward Labate's shrine to "My 61 Memorable Games". I can't tell you how sad I was when I heard this. |

HAHAHAHAAHAHAHA
Luxury- we lived in a box on the motorway, had to get up half an hour before going to bed, clean lake, pay mill owner to work at mill, and when we got home our father would slit our throats and dance on our graves singing Bloody Hallelujah. |
|
| Jun-19-09 | | PinnedPiece: <JB: who tells him that Stingo is not a cellular biologist at all, that he's just making it all up.> think you meant "<Nathan> is not a cellular biologist at all" otherwise story is confused... |
|
| Jun-19-09 | | Jim Bartle: Damn, you're right. It was Nathan who was making it all up. |
|
Jun-19-09
 | | jessicafischerqueen: Is <positional genius> the Nathan you are talking about? If not, who is this Nathan?
Nathan Hale? |
|
| Jun-19-09 | | Jim Bartle: No,look up a few posts. It refers to a character in the novel "Sophie's Choice." |
