| Jul-01-06 | | FICSwoodpusher: I didn't expect France to beat Spain and I didn't expect them to beat Brazil after that either! At least I am in first position now, I know I won't be at the end. |
| Jul-01-06 | | FICSwoodpusher: Portugal winning two knockout games was also very suprising. If Ballack is able to play in the next game, Germany have a decent chance of winning it all. |
| Jul-02-06 | | brankat: Although this doesn't count:
1. Italy will beat Germany.
2. Portugal is going to take care of France.
3. The Finals: Italy will be the new Champion! |

| Jul-02-06 | | brankat: <WannaBe> Is Shredder on strike? You are not paying him a Union wage ?:-) |
| Jul-02-06 | | Open Defence: <Wannabe> is the 1.e4 e5 2.♘f3 ♘c6 3.d4 exd4 4.♘xd4 ♗c5 5.♗e3 ♕f6 6.c3 ♘h6!? line mentioned in your Scotch Book ? |

 | | WannaBe: <Open Defence> I do not believe so. |
| Jul-02-06 | | Open Defence: <Wannabe> have you seen this? http://chess.emrald.net/ I hope to improve my tactics there.. |

 | | WannaBe: <Open Defence> I have heard of it, but have not yet visited it. |
| Jul-02-06 | | Open Defence: I recommend it <Wannabe> a few sessions and already I see the difference.. |
| Jul-02-06 | | brankat: <OD> Since when is it that a girl needs to improve her tactics? Ladies are being born as superb tacticians :-) |
| Jul-03-06 | | Chess Classics: <WannaBe> Might I ask how you operate your engine? Is it you or Shredder (or both?) that decides when to move? Regards,

 | | WannaBe: <Chess Classics> Against <Dionyseus> & <RandomVisitor> I let it go for as long as needed to reach a sensible move. There has been once or twice where 2 moves gives identical evaluation points, and after 30 minutes, (when I run out of patience) I make a call. Against <brankat>, we agreed to only let Shredder go for 10 min. max, in the first 5 moves, I had to decide about two times. =) |
| Jul-03-06 | | Open Defence: <being born as superb tacticians> emotional tacticians maybe... I am good at positional manouvering. ask <themadhair> |

 | | WannaBe: I was going to post something smarta$$, then figured it would be inappropriate for this web-site. So I'll just let your imagination run wild on what I wanted to post. =) |
| Jul-03-06 | | Open Defence: <So I'll just let your imagination run wild on what I wanted to post> I just realized what the twisted minds here might infer from my post below... geez it looks ghastly now!!!!! |
| Jul-03-06 | | TrueBlue: hmm, positional manouvering, that's what they call it these days? It sounds so technical ... |
| Jul-03-06 | | themadhair: Erm..... Well..... Erm..... Trying to decide which is more wrong. The above or the banjo rendition of the star trek theme currently on the radio.... Just to prove this forum could go to a lower tone.... |
| Jul-03-06 | | brankat: Positional manouvering makes for such an exciting game :-) |

 | | WannaBe: <themadhair> Yes, we, at this this forum boldly go where no one has gone before! |
| Jul-04-06 | | themadhair: <Yes, we, at this this forum boldly go where no one has gone before!> Picturing you saying this wearing your infamous jester hat makes this comment 'passable' on some level. Not sure how or why though... |
| Jul-04-06 | | Open Defence: <Wannabe> I was wondering if you would like to analyse one of my games with Shredder....... |
Jul-04-06
 | | WannaBe: <Open Defence> Sure, just post me the pgn |

I was planning to move Rca8 and dragged the rook till a8 .. then I thought that since I have some time let me think some more and dragged the Rook to what I thought was its original square but instead I plopped it onto d8!! hehehehe |
