Oct-02-06  djmercury: After 18. ... Ne4 my Fritz is suggesting 19. Nxe4 dxe4 20. Qe3 and it thinks that white has a clear edge with f6 and Bb5 being the best black move available.

Sorry, I made a mistake, I wanted to know what would you reply to 17. Bd4!? not Nd4!?, because me engines keeps to suggest d5 18. e5 Nd7 and I am checking your Ne4. 19. Qg3 and here white looks to have a nice postion with black completely cramped and without a piece on the kingside. Also white is blocking any counterplay of Black with the control of the important c5 square. Here Nickel would be really forced to calculate well the following moves, as white with h4-Rf3-Rae1 can build a strong attack.

Oct-02-06  Open Defence: <Did everyone behave?! =)> NO THEY DID NOT!!! THEY KEPT GOING TO THE TOILET!!! I PROTEST!!!!!!

WannaBe: No, I've not seen any really good action movies lately. =(
Oct-02-06  themadhair: I quite enjoyed Crank which wasn't out here too long ago. Possibly the most mindless action movie I've ever seen and all the better for it.
Oct-02-06  chessmoron: <WannaBe: No, I've not seen any really good action movies lately. =(> What!!! Watch Jet Li's Fearless.

Oct-04-06  NakoSonorense: Four ex-Dodgers with the Mets today. That's why they lost.

Now that the Angels are eliminated, I can do nothing but root for the Dodgers...

Go Blueeee!

WannaBe: If my memory is correct, Banos is spanish for restroom/toilet.

There is a town in central California with the name of Los Banos. http://www.losbanos.org/

Oct-05-06  chessmoron: Dodgers can't hit runs. Wilson Betemit got the HR. It's over. Maddux and Brad Penny up and both are struggling.
Oct-06-06  NakoSonorense: Quite close, wannabe. But the word is "Baños". Banos, without the tilde over the "n", does not exist.

Shoot, Dodgers down 2-0, now...

Oct-06-06  chessmoron: Baño cuarto is bathroom also.
