WannaBe: In case I forgot, congrats to them Lady Bruins. =)) U. Mich (69-63) won, but the last spread I saw was -6.5, so if you took UConn w/ spread, you got very lucky, if you bet on them U. Mich, I feel bad; the O/U was 148.5

WannaBe: <CIO> LOL. I remember those mems... <chancho> North by Norwest, totally agree, the audiences know that the plane scene was filmed earlier and played on a screen behind. It was still drama. Same thing with the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

WannaBe: ¡Olé! ¡Olé! this is what I see for "¡Olé! ¡Olé!" (game of the day Mar-13-2026) I also know this issue have been around for a while, and it's not that important, in IT term, it is a level 'C', cosmetic fix. But I just wish to report it again. Can CG.com unify this ...

WannaBe: <FSR> March 11 is his birthday, and usually PoD is chosen from the birth date of the player. So unless CG.com decides to change the algorithm on how PoD is decided. We will randomly get "undesired" player(s).

WannaBe: It's yet, time again for another <WannaBe> book review!!

I gave "Next" by Michael Crichton C+. Story is a bit 'far-fetched' and the story is actually 3 different stories inter-woven into one book. One of the story being a 'placebo' if you will. Okay book. Borrow it from your local library, or wait for paperback.

I *HIGHLY* recommend the following 2 books, not only are they cool and funny, but it's questions you've always wanted to ask and know.

Book one is http://www.amazon.com/Nipples-Hundr... and I read it about 2 year ago.

Book 2, its sequel came out, and it's http://www.amazon.com/Why-Men-Fall-...

Two wonderful books!! (Yes, I've read both, and have them. I don't review books that I have not read personally!) They are both published in paperback only, no hard cover, these two guys (the authors) have more sense of humor than I, and it's a fun/quick read.

If nothing else, leave the book above your commode, and read it when you 'have the time'. =)

Just for as an example, things that I've learned from these books:

1) I'm (will) not taking any steroids, they *DO* shrink your 'Nads.

2) Apples (especially the skin) contains anti-toxin. Much like the red wines.

3) Under the correct condition, men can give milk.

4) I may cut back on my BBQ'ing. But just a little.

5) Grapefruit and certain medicines don't mix, especially Viagra.

6) I have gustatory hyperhidrosis. Which only occurs in 3% of the population. (I'm SUPER SPECIAL!)

7) Cockroach can get stuck in my ear.

8) A dog's mouth has more germs and bacteria than my ... err... let's just say 'the #2 hole', okay?, this is a family web-site.

9) Those coaches that forbid sex before a big game!? You're so wrong!

Dec-02-06  Archives: <WannaBe> I challenged you on Gameknot. I am "RandallFlagg"

GL =)

Dec-02-06  NakoSonorense: Those books seem fun. I might get 'em for Christmas.

And since you know your books, wannabe, I have a question. The other day I overheard a conversation between two girls about a book. I only remember that it was about an Afghan rich boy born in the 70's. He and his servant grow up together and become best friends, until something happens in 2002.

They siad that it was one of the best books they had read, but I didn't pay attention to the title of it. Have you heard about it?

On a separate note, are you watching tomorrow's big game? BEAT 'SC, BEAT 'SC BEAT 'SC!!! xD

WannaBe: <NakoSonorense> Yes, it's the "Kite Runner". http://www.amazon.com/Kite-Runner-K...

It's a book I've heard about, it has been on the best seller list for a looooong time. It's available in paperback.

Unfortunately, it's not a subject that I read very often.

Dec-02-06  NakoSonorense: Thanks, wannabe. That's the book they were talking about. It has some good reviews on amazon, so they were probably right in saying that it was one of the best books they had read.

At first, I was a little skeptical about how good it could be because one of the girls was a blonde and I was like, "come on, blondes don't read!" But, I guess they do, after all... I'll still have to read it myself, though... Just to remove all doubts. :)

WannaBe: <NakoSonorense> Well, you ARE at UCLA, we've got different blondes than those 'SC blondes. Ours are way smarter. Maybe they are not even real blondes. :-)

Gonna be watching the game later. I just hope our team doesn't make me turn off the TV by half time.

WannaBe: Another field goal! (We blew a chance for touchdown) Bruins now lead 13-9 over 'SC.

I'm so pumped/nervous right now. Think I'll suffer a nervous breakdown once the game is over.

Dec-02-06  YouRang: LOL! Great finish for the Bruins -- Westwood is rocking tonight!

Can you believe that deflection+interception by UCLA?!

The 7 year losing streak to USC has ended in a manner that almost makes up for those 7 years.

Dec-02-06  princeofdragons: Bastards!!! =X
Dec-02-06  Isolani: <We Won! We Won! We Won!!!!!! Woo Woo!!> Congratulations! I just hope now that Florida will leap over Michigan.

Dec-03-06  chessmoron: <WannaBe> Dang! Are we that good at the Asian Games? 29 Gold Medals...4X more than pesky Japan.

3 More Rounds to go for the Rapids (25 minutes with 10 seconds increment)

Men: CHN Bu Xiangzhi ties 2 others for 1st place but a win against a co-leader VIE DAO Thien Hai could separate the tiebreakers. Also CHN Wang Yue is close behind Bu's tail.

Women: CHN Zhao Xue beats 1st Place holder IND Koneru Humpy and trails Koneru 4.5 to 5 with 3 more rounds to go.

WannaBe: Just saw "For Your Consideration" I don't know how Christopher Guest and Eugene Levy do it, but it's funniest thing I've seen since "Mighty Wind" and "Best in Show".

Ms. Posey looks as pretty as ever, I absolutely loved her character in "Best in Show", something about lawyers with braces and competes in dog shows. (Okay, maybe too much info department)
