WannaBe: In case I forgot, congrats to them Lady Bruins. =)) U. Mich (69-63) won, but the last spread I saw was -6.5, so if you took UConn w/ spread, you got very lucky, if you bet on them U. Mich, I feel bad; the O/U was 148.5

WannaBe: <CIO> LOL. I remember those mems... <chancho> North by Norwest, totally agree, the audiences know that the plane scene was filmed earlier and played on a screen behind. It was still drama. Same thing with the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

WannaBe: ¡Olé! ¡Olé! this is what I see for "¡Olé! ¡Olé!" (game of the day Mar-13-2026) I also know this issue have been around for a while, and it's not that important, in IT term, it is a level 'C', cosmetic fix. But I just wish to report it again. Can CG.com unify this ...

WannaBe: <FSR> March 11 is his birthday, and usually PoD is chosen from the birth date of the player. So unless CG.com decides to change the algorithm on how PoD is decided. We will randomly get "undesired" player(s).

WannaBe: There was a time where I can sing (like) this... Now I sound more like Harry Shearer. But I still love Frankie

Don't know what you mean by cheating, but I remember it from the jazz band Manhattan Transfer. I don't know who wrote the song.

Dec-06-06  technical draw: 1965 The Ad Libs.....
Dec-06-06  BishopofBlunder: <WannaBe: Alright, how many of you knows this SONG???: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPbt...; Would you consider the ability to read the "artist and title" written above the video screen "cheating"?

WannaBe: <BishopofBlunder> I was thinking people will just listen to the tune, but not try to see the screen. =)

Bad example.

Dec-06-06  NakoSonorense: I don't know if you're aware of this, but last Friday the UCLA Soccer team lost the final against UCSB. Had UCLA won, it would have been our 100th National Championship, which is, as you probably know, more than any other university in the US!!!

The victory over 'SC somehow compensates for that, though... :)

WannaBe: <NakoSonorense> Yes, I was aware of the fact that both Men and Women Soccer team lost in the NCAA playoffs. And our water polo team did not do well this year.

WannaBe: "Hannibal Rising", if you liked the earlier Hannibal books, you won't be disappointed.

The book tells the story of how the child Hannibal became the person that we know.

Quick read, quite enjoyable.
