WannaBe: In case I forgot, congrats to them Lady Bruins. =)) U. Mich (69-63) won, but the last spread I saw was -6.5, so if you took UConn w/ spread, you got very lucky, if you bet on them U. Mich, I feel bad; the O/U was 148.5

WannaBe: <CIO> LOL. I remember those mems... <chancho> North by Norwest, totally agree, the audiences know that the plane scene was filmed earlier and played on a screen behind. It was still drama. Same thing with the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

WannaBe: ¡Olé! ¡Olé! this is what I see for "¡Olé! ¡Olé!" (game of the day Mar-13-2026) I also know this issue have been around for a while, and it's not that important, in IT term, it is a level 'C', cosmetic fix. But I just wish to report it again. Can CG.com unify this ...

WannaBe: <FSR> March 11 is his birthday, and usually PoD is chosen from the birth date of the player. So unless CG.com decides to change the algorithm on how PoD is decided. We will randomly get "undesired" player(s).

jessicafischerqueen: Hi <MannBee> long time no "Bee".

WannaBe: <jessicafischerqueen> Hey!! Hope you are behaving you'self over there... Don't need any int'national incidents between Canada & S. Korea.

Saw in the news that N. & S. Koreans are holding high level talks to try to officially end the war.

I did *NOT* disallow you into the chatter last year. =) But you can still plot your revenge from 1/2 way around the world. Not gonna stop ya. =)

WannaBe: Right now, you would rather be:

1. Philadelphia Phillies Fan
2. Chicago Cubs Fan
3. Marion Jones
4. Michael Vick
5. Ex-Durham County DA Nifong
6. Yankees pitching coach
7. Notre Dame's football coach

Oct-05-07  zanshin: I'll take #7. Charlie Weis was lucky enough (or ND was dumb enough) to give him a 10 year contract worth $30-$40 million regardless of how poorly ND plays. (Let's go for 0-8!)

WannaBe: Okay, UCLA have lost 2 games, good thing is, they are out of conference games, we can still make the Rose Bowl by winning the Pac-10.

Here's the strange thing about UCLA football team, the two loses were to teams (Utah, Notre Dame) that have not won a game! (Stanford don't count, since it was the first game of the year for both teams, and this Stanford squad beat USC!!).

Utah was 0-2 when they played UCLA, and Notre Dame was 0-5. But quick look at the schedule, all remaining opponents on UCLA's schedule, all have at least 2 victories.

Therefore, by this 'fuzzy' logic, UCLA should be playing in the Rose Bowl comes 2008. I'd better get in line to buy my tickets.

Oct-08-07  JoeWms: I offered to marry Yang Huiyan and adopt her billions. And I wouldn't insist on a prenup. Her family was a bit concerned about the 50 years difference in our ages. I assured them it was not a problem: "If she dies, she dies."

Oct-09-07  chesstoplay: Jimmy, what an incredible football game!!

After watching the Cowboys amazing comeback win - truly a game worth watching - I think we need a rule to allow chess players to call time out when the clock in a chess game has less than 5 seconds on it!!

Anyway, I hope all is well with you.

WannaBe: I like the pace I'm playing in this rather large mini-tourney: http://gameknot.com/mt.pl?id=23755

I've learned, that first to finish the tournament doesn't mean much... (past CG.com tournaments). I've learned to taking more time on each move, and use the time allocated.

Will see how this tourney works out. Doing the best this dang wabbit can. =)
