WannaBe: <Breunor> Good question, I ran this game through the computer game analysis and: 31...Kg6 32.Bxa7 Bc4 33.Nd5 Nc6 34.Bc5 Ne5 35.Ke3 Bf1 36.Bd4 ⩱ +0.87 (41 ply) Possibly white was low on time and don't want to risk the chance to reaching move 40

Jan-11-06  sitzkrieg: I know i know.. But I and emperor are from the Netherlands and the rest of you, i think, of the fabulous U.S.A. so total voting probably cant always be done cause of time diff. Not that that is a problem:), just all vote when/if u are around.

  WannaBe: we should cast vote here, not on the game <me to play> page. Can't tip our moves.

Of course, they can just come here and view this page too. =)

Jan-11-06  RonB52734: The time control is a minimum of one move per day. I think we would be ok if we waited until all votes were cast before declaring a move to be made. There may be sense in waiting. Let's say three of us vote for a sound move, but the fourth comes online in the middle of the night and sees a brilliancy.
Jan-11-06  RonB52734: <WannaBe> You're right. A vote in a key situation will probably involve discussion of continuations etc.
Jan-11-06  sitzkrieg: ON <e4> so far most votes for <c5> On <d4> so far <Nf6> or <f5> we need to make a choiche. On c4 i believe most chose <e5> till now and i am indifferent between e5 and Nf6.

Correct me if im wrong.

  WannaBe: Time difference(s) issue, right now, since we're all on (at least for a brief moment.) can we all try to meet at the same time again? It would be around noon-ish in Calif, and 3 PM in East Coast U.S. and 10PM(?) in Holland?
Jan-11-06  sitzkrieg: What if they play b4??!
Jan-11-06  sitzkrieg: yup its half past 10 here. In the weekends and on tuesdays I might not always be there then but ill try to check daily. When im not here; just make a move without me.
Jan-11-06  sitzkrieg: Friday night i have to play at Corus f.e.:)
Jan-11-06  sitzkrieg: I suggest wannabe makes the official team post on me to plays page since we are on his site now.

  WannaBe: b4, that's polish, I usually play e5. We need a captain that will post our moves. I am going to nominate <RonB52734>.
Jan-11-06  sitzkrieg: Any Captain will work for me, i go with the majority of votes there. Btw, as far as I know b4 is called the Urang Utan opening, named by Dr. Tartacower after he visited a zoo before a game. After b4 I go with e5 too.

  WannaBe: Very well, it's all settled,

Team name: The Dark Horses
Team Captain: <RonB52734>

There is also a gentlemen's agreement, no viewing of opponents' discussion page. =) So that's EmperorAtahualpa's page.

Jan-11-06  me to play: Okay, it's fine if you want to work out moves in your forums, but I think each team should appoint a captain who will post the move that has been agreed upon. That way I can confirm the move with the captain before I officially post it. Is that agreeable?

And for the record here is the line-up for each team:

White ( The Knightmares )
<hitman84, EmperorAtahualpa, Ultra, Saruman, Chopin>

Black(The Dark Horses)
<WannaBe, Robin01, NakoSonorense, RonB52734, sitzkrieg>

  WannaBe: Okay, 1.e4 I am voting for c5

<Captain RonB52734> Lead us to victory!!

Jan-11-06  sitzkrieg: I think c5 was approved by a majority already:)
Jan-11-06  sitzkrieg: Ow and if we loose, can we blame our glorious leader?

  WannaBe: we'll offer grand-master draw after 6. Be2, LOL.
Jan-11-06  sitzkrieg: I am afraid they dont accept..(;)
Jan-11-06  sitzkrieg: lets post c5; vice captain can do it when Ron is absent./
Jan-11-06  Robin01: Just jumped in for a few minutes. c5 is good with me also.
Jan-11-06  Robin01: Actually, I'm in and out of it all day long!
Jan-11-06  sitzkrieg: Robin Wannabe and me makes a majority. And i believe the rest was ok with c5 too so i posted.
