WannaBe: With all the conference changes in NCAA football, surprises me that both Utah & BYU (Now both in the Big-12) rivalry game (The Holy War) are not the last game of the season.

WannaBe: Observed something weird. Using W11, Chrome Version 141.0.7390.108 (Official Build) (64-bit) the divide line between kibitz'n are some normal thin-ness, while others are randomly a bit thicker. Not a big deal, just want to comment on this. (both regular mode and incog mode)

WannaBe: Be (very) interesting if Trump manages to end Ukraine war too. And/or bring some calm between Iran/Israel. Teddy Rooselvelt won the Peace Prize for the Russo-Japanese War. And Obama won the prize for ending?? The Peace Prize have always the more political, like when Y. Arafat shared

WannaBe: Figures that MS would do it on a 2nd Tuesday of the month. That is when the updates (usual release) goes public. (Unless there's a super-duper-emergency zero day update)

WannaBe: Oh just some case that a magistrate judge let someone avoid jail in MD... Never heard the term of MJ before (No, not Michael Jordan), and from my Google search, it can vary from state to state. (Sorry, did not know you had responded weeks ago... Apologies. And much thanks, too)

Oct-20-09  chessmoron: I'm going to kick Broxton's on his hand.
Oct-20-09  NakoSonorense: Los Doyers blew it!

The Freeway Series seems more unlikely now... =(

WannaBe: I am so in shock, I don't know what to post... Very, very disappointed, and a little bit sad.
Oct-20-09  Jim Bartle: That was tough. Dodgers seemed so in control. A walk and a hit batsman did them in, much more than Rollins' triple.
Oct-20-09  whiteshark: <WannaBe: ...and a little bit sad.> You need your dose of http://www.dailyhaha.com/ :D
Oct-20-09  hangingenprise: little bit sad? than check out the final of the angel game. send them a little love! heck, they have been
battling the yankees every game!!
Oct-20-09  Jim Bartle: Before going on too much about the Raiders, WannaBe, you've gotta recognize they won by cheating. Using twelve men, or eleven men and a pigeon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2ms...

  WannaBe: The over/under on tonight's Dodgers-Phillies umpire's blown call is 2 and 1/2...

I'm gonna take the over.

Oct-21-09  Jim Bartle: Do ball and strike calls count? I've seen amazing differences among the umps.

WannaBe: <Jim Bartle> No, balls/strikes do not count, nor does any calls that require instant replay from 6 diff. angles to confirm/refute the field call...

WannaBe: Good start for the Dodgers...
Oct-21-09  Jim Bartle: Those balls just don't look to be hit all that hard. We may see a lot of homers tonight.
Oct-21-09  NakoSonorense: Are you kidding me?!

Two straight walks and then a homerun (after being down three balls, zero strikes) for the Phillies?

This might be it for the Dodgers...

Oct-21-09  NakoSonorense: Los Doyers answer back with a solo no-doubter of their own, but they still trail 3-2. It'll be a long night...

Oct-22-09  Travis Bickle: That is ridiculous Mr Bunny! Killing Tailgating a truly American tradition! You would think The NFL would support tailgating since it creates a strong camaraderie and big enthusiastic support by the NFL cities fans. Thus increasing football paraphernelia such as jerseys, hats and anything NFL merchandise! I would like to see how NFL football would prosper without the blue collar 'real fans' and just the white collar skybox crowd who while sipping on their champagne, consuming their tasty raw sushi and mingling with their cohorts about stock tips and entertaining their business clients probably don't even know the score of the game! P.S. The folks at Budweiser who just put out a music playing beer case for such ocassions and George Foerman grills corp. I'm sure don't appreciate the scrooge ban either.

WannaBe: Looks like it is better for me to <NOT> upgrade my current Vista to 7.

I have a Toshiba Satellite, my CPU is capable of 64-bit OS, which is what I want, because I wish to use all 4Gs of my RAM.

But my current Vista Home edition is 32-bit, and I would have to buy a brand new (not the upgrade version software). Back up what ever I currently have (not a heck of a lot...) and then do a 'Custom' install of the 64-bit version.

Which could be more pain in the rear-end than it's worth. (Not to mention the money to buy the friggin' new OS!!)

Maybe when this ol' laptop poops out, I'll get a 64-bit Windows 7...

'Til then, keep on chuggin' you Vista piece of crap. Don't fail me now!

=)

Oct-23-09  hangingenprise: that was/is a strike!
