WannaBe: Just raise the minimum wage to $100/hour end hunger, homelessness, and people being poor. Everyone will have plenty of money to buy homes and feed family. I'm ready to receive my Nobel Prize in Economics in 2026. If that doesn't fix the problem, raise min wage to $1,000/hour.

WannaBe: Observed something weird. Using W11, Chrome Version 141.0.7390.108 (Official Build) (64-bit) the divide line between kibitz'n are some normal thin-ness, while others are randomly a bit thicker. Not a big deal, just want to comment on this. (both regular mode and incog mode)

Domdaniel: Most helpful, eh? In the last couple of weeks alone, <dakgootje> said I should find a new hobby, <Travis B> called me a <gay canadien> and <Open Defense> said she hated me. These were all extremely helpful, but the vote goes to ... <Travis Bickle>, for broadening my horizons.

jessicafischerqueen: LOL I got nominated in both of these categories, but I predict I don't get a single vote for either.

I never try to help anybody and I can't even remember what I ate for breakfast.

I vote

Most Helpful <TRAVIS BICKLE>

Best Historian <PHONY BENONI>

(did you guys know that <PB> actually helps to edit the biographies of the Masters on the player pages? In fact he has editorial licence and can change the entries whenever he wants. If you don't vote for him he may react by altering some of the entries- for example, reporting that Karpov beat Fischer in their world title match of 1975 held in his basement)

Jan-05-10  hms123: Most helpful: <zanshin>, <SwitchQ>

Best Historian: I have to give <malthrope> the edge because he has been very active this year. I am glad.

Very good JFQ. Starting early for the funniest kibitzer award for next year, are we? That's OK, the baby takes on all challengers!

That last "Best Historian* is a very tough category to vote in as each one of the esteem candidates has experienced a major piece of it. They have all written about it, thought about it, studied it, and some cases they have actually lived it! :^)

All the Best, - Mal
