WannaBe: Another not important thing that I noticed, as a premium member when I visit ChessGames.com Statistics Page page, I see ads. Not that a big deal. Sure CG.com have more important things to fix.

WannaBe: <sneaky pete> It is very difficult for me to tell which pun are member submitted, and/or which ones are from CG.com, so, as (lazy) I just drop off the congratulatory note at CG.com support forum. =)

<crazybird>, <HeMateMe> Most helpful, was voted upon yesterday, and the winner was announced... You can find the name in my profile, and/or also in the Kibitzin' Cafe.

Thanks for all your patience, good cheer and hard work.

Best regards,
<Technical Draw>

Jan-09-11  meloncio: <WannaBe><Polls are closed!! Polls are closed!! Until next Caissar, the Polls are <CLOSED>!!!!> Well, then my vote goes to... :-)
Jan-09-11  crawfb5: Thanks for sponsoring the awards again and putting up with the rowdy crowd that shows up for these things.

You're quick, I'll give you that. My "major award" has already arrived!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJSm...

Jan-09-11  hms123: <Wannabe> Thanks for running the awards yet again. They went pretty well all things considered. Maybe this is the year that marks a real upswing in votes that will continue in the future.
Jan-09-11  technical draw: Thanks <WannBe> for running the caissar awards again this year. It became a little controversial when TD (accidentally) discovered the power of campaigning! I guess the standard political and democratic action of getting out the vote irritates some people but that's how elections are won (or lost). Like I mentioned somewhere else it probably only works for FK because of the nature of the category.

Of course if TD decides to run for some "serious" category he'll probably be laughed out of town!

See you all next year....TD

Jan-09-11  technical draw: <technical draw> and <jessicafischerqueen> are NOT the same person. And I can prove it. Here's a picture of them together and you can see that they are NOT the same:

Jan-09-11  hms123: <TD> Which one is you? My guess is the one on the right so that you can start your campaign for <Best Profile> in 2011.
Jan-09-11  talisman: thanks <WannaBe> and congrats to the winners.
Jan-09-11  wordfunph: <WannaBe> thank you for hosting Caissar's 2010.

WannaBe: Okay, I had to go 'away' for a day, after the Caissars, (Another rest day, if you will...) No, seriously, I was drunk for the last 3 days with Pete Carrol in Seattle after that victory over the Saints, it was more 'wild' than that party at USC after Pete beat Texas in the Rose Bowl when Steve Young was stopped 2 yards short of the touchdown.

I am sure y'all understand... It was either that, or go to the wailing wall and start suing (it) them for copyright'n The Great Wall, and the whole thing would go political, dogs and cats would sleep together, and, and, and the world will come to an end in 2012 when the Supreme Court rules in favour of Sarah Palin. (And Mel Gibson for making that movie in Aramaic!!)

So, in favour of saving humanity, as we know it, I took the Seventh Day Off, but I need to respond to some of the posts that was made, hence, here we go...

1. <meloncio> No, you may not vote for David Beckham, I don't care what category.

2. <crawfb5> I, honestly, (no Odd Lie here) have no idea what movie that is from, but it does look as funny as my avatar, so please, let me know which movie it is, so I can bittorrent it, and screw Hollywood out of the $0.05 that it would receive from Netflix!!

3. <hms123> Yes, it wasn't quite the fiasco a.k.a. 'mess' that it was two years ago, when Obama #!$%#$# slapped Hilary, and then McCain... Oh, never mind.

4. <technical draw> Dang, you got sexy legs, but why are you wearing an Armanian Exchange shirt? Who/what are you trading for? Swedish blonde?? Or the next avail. slot at ElAl terminal at JFK (Not related to some Canadian who is currently living in South Korea, trying to start World War MCMMXXLLVI.)

5. <talisman>, <wordfunph>, thanks for the kind words, please tell them to the judge, who will be deciding my sanity case, July 4th, 2011 in California. (I am the good lookin' one, the one with the shaved legs, not the one wearing Armanian Exchange, standing next to O.J. Simpson!)

(Actually, being a volunteer who ran Caissar for the last decade would be enough to declare me insane beyond a reasonable doubt.)

6. <Annie K.> Will read them tomorrow, I am just glad that we got your name as a link this year!! Thanks to User: minasina !!!!!!!!! (That was more hack'n than the NSA, CIA, FBI, Mossad, MI5, MI6, MI7, MI8, MI9, Coast Guard, WikiLeak, and the DAR combined!!! Major (major, major) kudos!!)

<Red October> The game between you and Peter actually won the Caissar for the 'Best-Time-To-Play-2. Ke2-And-Didn't-And-Hence-Lost-The-Chance-For-Wan- naBe-Brilliancy-Prize'

But it was way too long to type it in my forum, and the Cafe, and then in my profile, (I still can't figure out how to cut/paste) so I just got lazy and shorten'd it =)

(I still can't figure out how to cut/paste)(I still can't figure out how to cut/paste)(I still can't figure out how to cut/paste)(I still can't figure out how to cut/paste)

It's <A Christmas Story>, a modern American Christmas classic. One of the Turner networks usually runs it for 24 hours straight at Christmas time.

Our young hero yearns for a BB gun, but everyone keeps telling him, "You'll shoot your eye out!"

Jan-10-11  technical draw: <you look good in heels <TD>>

You should see me in my LBD! (uh, maybe you'd rather not)

Jan-10-11  meloncio: <WannaBe> Beckham??? I didn't like him at all. Messi is the official King

  jessicafischerqueen: <karats> AHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHHHHHHHHH

wheeze

Jan-12-11  bumpmobile: <cadwallon: <James Bowman: Lol Dredge Rivers maybe some decaf is in order. We involved ourselves in those conflicts because it was the right thing to do and our own interests were there too. Maybe some sort of antiamerican bias it certainly exists but we also produce less upper echelon chess players by a large factor.> We Brits, on the other hand, expressly entered those conflicts to ensure fair representation of our chess players at top level competitions held in Continental Europe. Let's see if it worked.

Number of players at Wijk aan Zee (excluding Dutch players, I think a bit of home bias happens at competitions held in any country): 32

Number of British players in FIDE Top 100 (also number of American players): 3

Number of players in FIDE Top 100 (excluding Dutch players again): 98

Expected number of British players Wijk (also expected number of American players): (3/98)*32=0.98

Actual number of British players at Wijk (also actual number of American players): 1

Seems to be working fine.>

From the Wijk aan Zee page. I have to nominate this for a "Best Post of the Year" Caissar or something.
