 | | WannaBe: A brief recap of the end of the Clev-Oakland game, after scoring the touchdown, it was a seven point game. (Cleveland have 2 time outs left.) Cleveland recovered the on-side kick, and marched to the Oakalnd's 25 (?) yard line, a touchdown would have tied the game and most likely, forced OT. (Cleveland still have 2 time outs left.) Facing a fourth down and three, game on the line, with approximately 40 seconds left, Cleveland passed the ball, incomplete. Raiders take over on downs. (Cleveland have 2 time outs left.) This is where I'd fire the coach. Fourth down and three to go, McCoy is what, 2nd year starter? 3rd year player?? YOU DID NOT CALL TIME OUTS ON THAT DRIVE? AND THE GAME ENDED WITH TWO TIME OUTS IN THE BOOKS FOR CLEVELAND? I hope you get to use them in your next game, I don't know what you were saving your time outs for. If I am the owner of the Browns, I'd fire the whole coaching staff, offense, defense, I don't care, somebody should have known the number of time outs left for the team. Unless, you are playing to lose, which I did notice, Cleveland, down by 14, about 8 minutes left in the fourth, did not play with any urgency at all, NONE. The Browns must be playing Suck for Luck game. Absolutely unprofessional, disgusting, as Daffy would say, dissss-peak-able! |

 | | WannaBe: <Golden Executive> I agree with Herm, #2, you play the game to win, and unfortunately, I did not see that in Cleveland today. And, I am an Oakland fan. Still, the display by the Browns today, in my opinion, was dissss-peak-able. |
|
| Oct-17-11 | | Golden Executive: Deja-Vu ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsFM... I remember perfectly that game, do you?
If not (it is because you are so much younger than me), and I suggest you start the video at 33:00. As an Oakland Raiders fan, I am sure you (will) enjoy (ed) it. And of course, quoting you: If I was the owner of the Browns at that time, I'd fired the whole coaching staff ! |

<Stat of the Week: 116
Tom Brady and Bill Belichick won their 116th game together Sunday, tying Don Shula and Dan Marino for the most wins by a quarterback-coach combo in NFL history. But Peyton Manning's 141 career wins are still the most in NFL history by a quarterback/coach.> So, Manning have how many SB rings in comparison to Brady? Not to mention girlfriends... When was the last time Manning (Eli or Peyton) was seen with a girlfriend and made TMZ headline? =) |

|
| Oct-18-11 | | I play the Fred: <That punter for Miami is sure doing a great job.> The Dolphins did it all wrong.
Before the season started, the owner told his GM, "You know, I am the proud owner of one of the elite franchises in the NFL. We were the second team ever to win back-to-back Super Bowls. So let's get great players like the ones we had when we were good." The GM decided to get someone who plays just as well as <Reggie Roby>. |

 | | WannaBe: News Item: Colts, Rams, and Dolphins are winless so far. Reaction #1: The three teams do <NOT> play each other this year! We can possibly see 3 0-16 teams! That's right, three 0-16 teams! Wheeeeeee. Reaction #2:
2a) 'Fins, best chance for a win, this weekend at home, with Denver (1-4) coming to town, but will Tebow put up big numbers for his trip home to the state of Florida? 2b) Rams, best chance for a win, well, actually two, because they play the currently 1-4 Arizona Cardinals twice. 2c) Colts, best chance for a win, well, they are 3(!!) chances. Colts will play the currently 1-5 Jax Jaguars twice, and also host the Carolina Panthers (also currently 1-5) on Nov. 27th, after a bye week to boot! Plenty of time for Manning to stage a come back game. Reaction #3: Miami is definitely ahead of the curve of the other two teams in the Suck for Luck sweepstake. Too bad the NFL don't have a lottery system, the worst record will get the #1 pick. None of that 0.83% chance of landing the #1 pick and strike it rich by actually getting your ping-pong ball to come up. |
