WannaBe: Ah, the incredible Flakers lost on the road to the New York Knickerbockers, where your power forward Jamison was 1-3 from the field, 0.333333333 and zero free-throw attempt. Power Forward.

Nice.

WannaBe: <Shams> Please see my post, responding to <OCF> & <hms123>.
Dec-14-12  Shams: <WannaBe> Gotcha, I missed that. Not to lean on you, but you're kind of perfect for the job. I understand your reticence though.

<OCF> would also do a great job. He runs the move prediction contests like a Swiss watch from what I've seen.

Dec-23-12  Travis Bickle: WannaBe, I want to apologize for the comments I made in The Cafe the other night when I called you a drunk and so on. Sometimes as you know I have a big mouth and don't know when to keep it closed! You are a nice guy & contribute a lot to this site with your being captain of the Gameknot team, your sports comments and most of all your great sense of humor! I'm sorry for the out of line comments again.

WannaBe: <TB> No worries, I don't pay attention to that. All good fun.
Dec-23-12  Jim Bartle: The indecipherable (to me) title of your page reminds me of political prankster Dick Tuck.

Nixon spoke at a rally in LA's Chinatown during the campaign for governor in 1962. Naturally there were lots of signs in Chinese supporting Nixon. But Tuck put up one which said, "What about the Hughes loan?", referring to a scandal involving his brother Donald. When Nixon found out, he ripped it up in front of the crowd.
