WannaBe: A very nice opening drive by Jumpin' Tree, with a trick play thrown in!! 7-0 Stanford.
Jan-01-13  Jim Bartle: Great catch on that flea-flicker, by a sub receiver, too. Stanford running looks good. Let's see if they can stop Wisconsin running now.

And you're right, the entire stadium is filled with red, for both teams.

Only Stanford's second Rose Bowl since 1972. Too much Washington, USC, UCLA, Oregon.

WannaBe: Jumpin' Jimminy, them Tree scored again!

Pac-12 only have 2 teams that won bowl games, Ariz, and ASU.

Wash, USC, UCLA, Oreg. St. all lost. After this Rose Bowl, it will be Oregon and Kansas St.

Maybe the Pac can go .500

WannaBe: Under the "History" section of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rose_B...

<The inaugural game featured Fielding H. Yost's dominating 1901 Michigan team, representing the East, which crushed a previously 3-1-2 team from Stanford University, representing the West, by a score of 49–0 after Stanford quit in the third quarter.>

Didn't know you can resign in a football game.

WannaBe: This #12, for the Flakers, so far, in the game vs. Clippers, have done nothing. Nothing!

Except one garbage slam dunk and a trip to the free-throw line.

I think he claims to be Dwight Howard...

WannaBe: Gotta be funny, if not downright hilarious, for the Lakers to look to the other side, and see M. Barnes, L. Odom, and R. Turiaf. All ex-Lakers, wearing that red/white/blue jersey for the Clippers.

Who is also in the running for the hardest to spell and pronounce name besides Mike Krzyzewski.
