Feb-08-13  Travis Bickle: Let me open a beer to a Happy Chinese New Year!! ; P
Feb-08-13  technical draw: Remember this, <Wannabe>?

Dear TD:

I have been an admirer of you even when you were poor, But now that you're rich you can help me even more. You see I have lost my third business along with my third wife. I try to run a good business but I just can't lay off the bottle. Whisky is destroying my life and I'm sure with a couple of mil from you I can get into the right rehab and start all over again and this time I mean to stay on the wagon and make you proud. Please Dear TD you're my last hope, signed. Fingers crossed in LA.

Dear Fingers: I will definitely help you, loser. And I promise I won't reveal you true identity. All I ask is that you get rid of the awful bugs bunny avatar. And get rid of the WannaBe name, it sounds like you're begging (which of course you are but must we flaunt it?)

Oh, did I say I was going to help you? Ha, ha! Insiders joke. Dear TD doesn't help losers so go back to panhandling on Crenshaw and quit wasting my time.

Dear TD, helping the poor and needy since 1994 (except WannaBe).

Feb-09-13  Shams: I think <Dear TD> should be a recurring column.
Feb-10-13  Jim Bartle: Anybody read about the Louisville-Notre Dame five-overtime game?

A ND guy hit three looong 3-pointers plus a three-point play in the last minute to force overtime.

One Louisville player took four potential game-winners in the overtimes, mainly wild three-pointers, never thinking of passing. Pitino was yelling at him.

A ND guy who usually doesn't even play scored 17 points. He didn't get in the game until overtime, because of guys fouling out.

Read about the Wis-UM game.

Feb-11-13  NakoSonorense: Don't have one. How do you like the phone you have? I remember you said you're a latecomer to the smartphone world, right?

WannaBe: <NakoSonorense> Yes, I'm latecomer to these gadgets. I like the (T-Mobile) plan (cheap). The phone's capabilities are enough for what I use it for. (web surfing, play on GK, watch live-games on CG while lying in bed at 5AM in the morning...)

The screen can be a little bigger, that means splurge more $$$.

Good thing it's not 5PM in the morning, way to be repetitive, way to be repetitive.

Feb-11-13  NakoSonorense: The Google Sky application is really cool. If your phone supports it, you should totally download it.

Some other apps I use are Google Maps (for when I get lost), Dictionary.com (for when I don't know a word), Google Translate (for when I wanna impress a girl in a different language), ESPN ScoreCenter (for when I want to see results from the NBA, MLB, and UCLA games), Goal.com (for when I want to read soccer news), Scoremobile (for when I want live results on soccer matches [better than ESPN ScoreCenter]), Shazam (for when I don't know the name of a song), and Amazon Kindle [for when I want to read).

Ah, I use it also to check the Rogoff page.
