Jun-23-14  technical draw: I knew that sooner or later the <WannaBe Grammar> would contaminate other, highly regarded kibitzers. Now it's everywhere, spreading faster than Ebola. Yes, that's right, it's like a disease

Let's hope the grandmasters don't discover the <WannaBe Gambit> because it will be the end of chess as we know it.

  WannaBe: We welcome a new member to our team!!

Jul-02-14  master of defence: Thanks for accepting me in our team, <WannaBe>. I look forward for good and challenging games.
Jul-02-14  NakoSonorense: I'm trying to write a simple script for a Google Spreadsheet to clear some cells. I'm getting this error:

"TypeError: Cannot call method "getSheetByName" of null. line 2, file "Code")

This is what I have:

function clearRange() [
var sheet = SpreadsheetApp.getActive().getSheetByName("Gener- alRates1");

sheet.getRange("B5:B20").clearContent();
]

Any idea how to fix this? It doesn't make any sense to me. The [ ] are {}, but chessgames makes letters into ♗, ♘, etc.

Jul-02-14  NakoSonorense: It is very straightforward. I don't see why it wouldn't work. My guess is that the sheet is protected, but I already allowed scripts (I think).
