  WannaBe: Apparently, some of the latest retail store credit card hacks were due to failure to upgrade (Windows XP to Win7).

If you have iPhone 5 and want to upgrade to iPhone 6? It will cost you 14% more a year to charge its battery.

If you go to iPhone 6 Plus, it will cost you 26.8% more a year to charge its battery.

Nice!

I'm taking a short break from gameknot. I'll be ready for a few more games in a couple of months.

So, yesterday... Some people did show up. I played first against some Russian guy. I had positional advantage, but then he made a move, I panicked, and threw the game away. I had a solid defense, but I just didn't see it. We didn't play again since he had to leave.

Then I played another guy and beat him 3-0.

Then I played a Filipino guy and gave me an ass-whopping in the first game. We played one more and I managed to build a strong advantage, but he got a perpetual at the end and. I should've done better... =/

  WannaBe: Came to the realization that my left hand and elbow hurts a bit, after some thinkin' I believe I know why...

And I blame keyboard layout and/or common short-cuts.

Since over 85% of the population are right-handed, (as I am one of them) my mouse is situated on the right. (DUH!) And more often than not, I choose to use the keyboard more than my mouse.

Now, here are some common short-cuts that I use:

Ctr+t (new browser tab)
Ctr+w (close current tab)
Alt+d (highlight address bar)
Alt+a (brings up bookmark/favorites)
Alt+t (tools)
Alt+f (Files)
Alt+f -> s (save file)
Alt+f -> c (close file)
Alt+f -> x (close application)
Alt+Space+n (minimize current app)
Alt+Space+c (close app)
Ctrl+v
Ctrl+c
Ctrl+t
Ctrl+z (undo)
tab (jump to next entry or input box)
Alt+tab (jump/cycle to next application)
Ctl+tab (jump/cycle to next web page tab)
Windows Start key

THEY ARE ALL ON THE LEFT SIDE!

If I am anywhere close to a sports book, I'd bet <technical draw>'s $20 on Seattle.
