Oct-14-14    WannaBe: Did my normal second Tuesday of the month Window 7 patches, now it's saying Failed, Reverting, and it's stuck on that. DON'T UPDATE/PATCH WIN7. My Win8.1 was fine after installing patches. Will keep y'all posted. Oct-15-14    WannaBe: Updated my home system (Win7 Pro) and had no issues. Trying to pin point which update caused my work computer (Win7 Ultimate) to not complete update/patches yesterday. The other work laptop (Win8.1 Pro) had no problems at all. Oct-15-14    WannaBe: Got it narrowed down to one of the Windows Security Updates, but I don't know which KB it is yet... What I did was first to update the Malware definition and Email Junk Spam Filter. No problems, no reboot required. Then I updated all the .NET framework security patches. Reboot, no issues. Then what I left was the 8 (?) security patches. Bam, after reboot, I get the Failure, revert message on my screen. But I had no problem with my Win7 Pro at home, so right now I guess it's only Win 7 Ultimate(??)... Have to find another machine that have Win 7 Pro and test it out.
