Nov-01-15  Jim Bartle: Double for me! Power came back on, then cable came back on, then Fox Latino is showing Raiders. Now if they only had SAP so I could listen to the US announcers.

WannaBe: Shoot, those cheap seats at the Coliseum probably just doubled in price. And my Cal/Stanford tix just took a nose dive.

I sure know how to pick 'em.

Nov-01-15  Jim Bartle: And what if Stanford hadn't gotten lucky vs. Washington State?

WannaBe: <JB> I think that would have helped, ideally, two evenly matched; rivalry game (even if 6-5 vs 7-4) will get more interest if one team is 10-1 vs 6-5. Or 7-4...
Nov-01-15  Jim Bartle: The team with the much weaker record often wins the Big Game.

i still remember going to Cal to see Stanford's last regular season game of 1970. Going to the Rose Bowl, ranked in the top ten, Plunkett's last game.

Cal was 5-5.

Cal 22 Stanford 14. Bye bye top ten.

WannaBe: Regarding that pair of Cal/Stanford tix, which I "invested in". (at section 218 Row L)...

From what I can see, section 218 now only have one seller, row J 1 to 6 tickets available, with fees, $115 each.

Currently cheapest with fees is $86 Section 238, row S, single ticket. (Section 238 is straight across the other corner of the stadium...)

Got 2 more weeks, see what happens.

WannaBe: This OAK/PIT game is getting GOOOOOOOOOOD.

Touchdown Raiders!!

Nov-08-15  Jim Bartle: Great game. Crabtree's great TD catch was almost identical to Owens' last-second catch from Young to beat Green Bay in the 1998 playoffs.

Raiders have a future All-Pro in receiver Amari Cooper.
