WannaBe: In case I forgot, congrats to them Lady Bruins. =)) U. Mich (69-63) won, but the last spread I saw was -6.5, so if you took UConn w/ spread, you got very lucky, if you bet on them U. Mich, I feel bad; the O/U was 148.5

WannaBe: <CIO> LOL. I remember those mems... <chancho> North by Norwest, totally agree, the audiences know that the plane scene was filmed earlier and played on a screen behind. It was still drama. Same thing with the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

WannaBe: ¡Olé! ¡Olé! this is what I see for "¡Olé! ¡Olé!" (game of the day Mar-13-2026) I also know this issue have been around for a while, and it's not that important, in IT term, it is a level 'C', cosmetic fix. But I just wish to report it again. Can CG.com unify this ...

WannaBe: <FSR> March 11 is his birthday, and usually PoD is chosen from the birth date of the player. So unless CG.com decides to change the algorithm on how PoD is decided. We will randomly get "undesired" player(s).

WannaBe: Sportsbooks took a (little) hit over the weekend, but somehow I expect them to keep the lights on and betting windows open.

<I think I saw the documentary on this, Otto Pilot had to take over....>

This reminds me of when I once tried to carpool to work.

On the first day, my ride didn't show up, so I called him. But he had a thick German accent and knew very little English.

When I asked him what happened, all he did was keep repeating his name: "Otto das Entwerk."

At least you knew enough German to understand his name.

WannaBe: Found this "new" show called Black Mirror from UK. All I have to say is <WOW>, <WOW>!!

(Episode one of season one is blah...)

Saw all 3 of season 1 and the "Christmas Special" <-- Really, really, really good!

After tonight's baseball game, think I'll watch 3 episodes of season 2. Did I say this show is good? Especially the "Christmas Special"?! =))

WannaBe: Saw "Black Mirror" Season 2, episode 2, entitled 'White Bear'.

Sadistic, just plain brutal. If that method of punishment ever get implemented.

'The Waldo Moment' blah, I can kinda see it happening, but voting for a cartoon character who may have the manner of Trump? No.

(Side note, season 2 of B.M. was 2013, even before US election and Trump...)

WannaBe: Alright, I'm done procrastinating, I'm going to fill in my ballot and get it in the mail tomorrow in time for Tuesday.

Actually, as long as it's postmarked on the 8th and counted before 16th it would still be OK.

President:

A. Johnson
A. Lincoln

I'm already confused...

Nov-04-16  Boomie: What? No Calvin Coolidge? Having a candidate that kept his mouth shut would be such a relief.

WannaBe: <Boomie> Oh, yes. "Silent Cal", rumours have it that one time, at a White House party, a lovely lady walked up to President Coolidge and said:

"That gentleman over there from [some state] wagered [$5] that I can get to say three words"

President Coolidge said:

"You lose."

Don't know if this absolute true, or just a 'good story'.
