WannaBe: Observed something weird. Using W11, Chrome Version 141.0.7390.108 (Official Build) (64-bit) the divide line between kibitz'n are some normal thin-ness, while others are randomly a bit thicker. Not a big deal, just want to comment on this. (both regular mode and incog mode)

WannaBe: Oh just some case that a magistrate judge let someone avoid jail in MD... Never heard the term of MJ before (No, not Michael Jordan), and from my Google search, it can vary from state to state. (Sorry, did not know you had responded weeks ago... Apologies. And much thanks, too)

WannaBe: Hum-dinger of an ending to episode 9, I can kinda-sorta-guessa what Season 2 final episode will be. (Knowing that other Next Generation Crew are coming back for Season 3)

Kinda, sorta, Star Trek First Contact movie, but with more personal in-depth and more goodies, and I am guessing episode 10 will end with one h*** of a f***ing cliff hanger.

Just a wild guess, but I'll find out next week.

WannaBe: Star Trek Picard Season 2, Episode 10 (Season finale, there will be season 3 and will be the last, so they say, so far)

The need of many vs the need of one makes a return in this episode.

Wesley Crusher makes a return. And that's all I will say about that. Will not give anything away. Half way through this episode... So most likely I will have more to comment on later.

WannaBe: Picard Season 2, over-all A++++ (Did you really think I'd give it anything else?? C'mon...)

Great writing, lots of deep-thinking dialogs, a few throw-backs (bus in LA vs SF) The one that hits me-self the most is living in the past and how Q explains it.

Can't wait for Season 3 (which alas, will be the last, but all the gang-members will be back, Worf, Riker, Troi, Data, Jordi, Crusher)

But with the ending of Season 2, with Wesley, I thiiiiiiiink the writers (yeah, you, Michael Chabon) will have a couple of aces up their sleeves to surprise us.

And I'm going ALL IN, even if I am just holding 6 clubs and 3 of diamonds. I'm gonna hit that Full House. Babyyyyyyyyyyy!!

Now, on to Star Trek Strange New World, with Capt. Pike! (Not in that blinky-blinky wheel chair and that lovely, beautiful Rebecca Ramajian, Ramejaian. Oh hell. She plays the new Number One on the show and Ethan Peck as Spock. Did I mention that he is the grandson of Gregory Peck? Probably too many times already...)

WannaBe: Alright, so the real "intro" comes in, also done by Jeff Russo, who did Star Trek Picard, and lines are identical (virtually?) to The Next Generation, where "No Men" is replaced by "No One"

WannaBe: There's that term again "Galivanting across the galaxy"!!! Hilarious. It was used in Picard Season 2, final episode.

And of course, spoken by Q. I also believe, if I remember right, it was spoken in the movie Star Trek Generations. But I think this may be wrong.

WannaBe: And they bring up the future death of Capt. Pike and what happened in Discovery Season 2. Nice!!

WannaBe: Oh, this is gonna be good, (at least we are promised season 1, but man I would want more).

A captain, who knows he got 10 more years before he become crippled and "death" in a blinky-blinky wheelchair and is already doubting his command abilities.

Spock is there to re-assure him. Oh, and we are barely just 20 minutes into the 54 minutes long show. Episode one of a brand new series.

Anson Mount is doing great job as Pike.
