It's one thing to see a magic show from afar or on TV and it's quite another when you are just merely inches away from the magician. And to top of it off, he did the ol' 3 cups and balls trick, (at the end, the 3 balls became 3 small red potatoes under one cup) I know how it's done and I am literally standing right behind him as he was amusing the bar patrons. (And I still can't catch his hands palming the balls and replacing them with the potatoes) He also did a couple very cool card tricks. He was there on the way home from a gig, and decided to sing a coupla of songs during karaoke, and when he wasn't singing, he amused the rest of the crowd with his tricks. Super nice guy, offered to buy him a drink, but he doesn't drink, or wasn't that night, (kinda slow/screws up your hand motor skills, for a magician, I guess). We had a wondering time chatting, I brought up I watched a lot of "Fool Us" with Penn and Teller, and he shows off a couple of card (non) shuffle tricks, where your picked card is never moved. Had a great time with Danny. Now I have someone to contact if I ever want to visit Magic Castle, he is also 2x Hollywood Magic Castle Winner (Check out his web page) |

| | WannaBe: And here we go Star Trek Picard, Season 2, Episode 9, the pentulmate, pentialmute, pentamote, (Second to Last) episode. D*&^^ F^%$ spell checker. Next week, there will be a special treat (at least for the geek in me). Season 2 finale for Picard (Season 3 is guaranteed, but it will be the last season for the Picard episodes/series run. And Worf, Troy, Riker, all will be back, how you like them apples???) But!!! Star Trek Strange New Worlds (STSNW, or is it ST-NSFW) Season 1 Episode 1 will begin with Capt. Pike as pre-Kirk days and Ethan Peck (grandson of Gregory Peck, who ever he is...) as Spock, a role he played in Star Trek Discovery. So totally geeked... Can't wait, this is better than Fischer/Spassky, Fischer/Kasparov, Fischer/Tal, Fischer/Keres, Fischer/Ruy Lopez, Topalov/Anand, Anand/Carlsen, me vs that punk 3th grader that mates me in 15 moves. |
