WannaBe: LAD will start Snell and Yamamoto for Games 1 and 2 (Same against MIL), so I guess/think Glasnow and Ohtani for 3 and 4 at home. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id... Last starts was Oct 13th (Snell) and 14th (Yamamoto, CG). Hopefully there isn't "rust, and time off" curse.

WannaBe: Observed something weird. Using W11, Chrome Version 141.0.7390.108 (Official Build) (64-bit) the divide line between kibitz'n are some normal thin-ness, while others are randomly a bit thicker. Not a big deal, just want to comment on this. (both regular mode and incog mode)

Mar-29-22  technical draw: OK, <WannaBe>, Ebb Tide has been sung by everybody and his brother. I prefer the version by The Platters. (But I still refuse to play it.). The A side is the top song, the B side is just a filler. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57G...
Mar-29-22  technical draw: Another song that I hated to play was "Three Coins in the Fountain. Yuck. Why do people like so much these saccharine songs?

WannaBe: OMG, OMG, Picard Episode 5 (released today) is directed by Jonathan Frakes (William Riker). This is gonna be good!!!

And in the opening credits, M. Chabon is the writer, (more OMG, OMG, OMG). Am I allowed to squeal like a teenager at In-Sync concert?

WannaBe: Borg Queen: "Alone, but not lonely. Silence so loud" Betcha this (line) was written by M. Chabon.

WannaBe: "People are idiots", woooooo!!!! Great line, think I wrote that one. Like 20 years ago.

But I am not going to sue for plagerism, plagerarism, plagirasim, pledgism?

Okay, I am not gonna sue to stealing my line. There. You got a freebie on me, Paramount.

WannaBe: "Rich Heiress cloning their f***ing cats" -- Dr. Soong, which Data have a cat that he "loves" in Next Generation.

"Apparently I have taken time for granted and she have abandoned me" - Q

Hilarious line, considering how often he has/have/will f*** up the time line.

  WannaBe: "... I am the gentle flutter of a butterfly..." - Q

If a butterfly flutters its wins in Japan, does it affect the weather in New York?

Another great line! (Probably written by M. Chabon)

WannaBe: Continuing on the previous comment "... I am death, destroyer of worlds.", Spoken by Q in the show.

But it was also said by Robert Oppenheimer, (which I think what he was referring to, as the episode timeline takes place after WWII) and many people attribute this to Oppenheimer; but its origin traces back to India/Hindu

WannaBe: Just discovered this little ditty, called 'tank' by Cowboy Bebop, I like the Big Band/Jazzy style/tune.

YouTube it, and I'd like to know what people thinks. (If you don't know this musical score)

WannaBe: This is pretty cool, on the same line/thought as the COVID Cello project, but it is to the tune/song of Tank:

The band is The Seatbelts. The percussion is the obvious highlight. A bongo, couldn't tell but I think a triangle, possibly castanets? The alto had a Cannonball Adderly feel to it. A cross between big band and bebop. Evoked thoughts of Batman or The Pink Panther.

WannaBe: I am so ashamed of myself, I thought Joe Cocker had muscle control problem until I really looked.

He was playing (air) guitar and/or (air) piano before the song "With A Little Help From My Friends".

I should be forced to return/relearn the Tuba and cleanse meself.
