WannaBe: The latest odds from ESPNBet have LAD as -1500 to beat MIL and MIL as +750 to mount a comeback... (Number will most likely change) SEA is now -550 and TOR is +400 to win their respective series. Both LAD and SEA of course, can clinch at home. https://www.espn.com/mlb/futures/_/...

WannaBe: Be (very) interesting if Trump manages to end Ukraine war too. And/or bring some calm between Iran/Israel. Teddy Rooselvelt won the Peace Prize for the Russo-Japanese War. And Obama won the prize for ending?? The Peace Prize have always the more political, like when Y. Arafat shared

WannaBe: Figures that MS would do it on a 2nd Tuesday of the month. That is when the updates (usual release) goes public. (Unless there's a super-duper-emergency zero day update)

WannaBe: Never heard of Arturo Marquez, but I love that Dance #2 (Danzon #2).

Miss why Ms. Alondra lost/dropped baton and started conducting with her hands. Because I was here posting. (I am an idiot...)

But I am not going to complaint.

WannaBe: So after 10 and half minutes, I love Arturo Marquez's flair in that Dance #2, will have to listen more to his compositions.

That mixture of, of, which I really can't describe is very unique, Hispanic influence shown through; and so different from European composition of classical music style.

Of course, more of Ms. Alondra is always welcomed, loved the way she conducted and the emotion shown by her.

Can anyone tell me (enlighten me)??>

In honor of Christmas, Id call it a, Candy Cane Flute.

Jan-02-23  technical draw: <diceman>. That instrument is an alto flute. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alto_...)
Jan-02-23  diceman: <technical draw: alto flute.>

That's how you spell it?

I thought it was, Alltoe Flute, because you have to be on your toes to play it!

WannaBe: <TD> Thanks, learned something for the New Year.
Jan-03-23  technical draw: <WannaBe> I have dibs on Eva Longoria for my future ex-wife. She is just too beautiful at 47 years old. And she just had a kid at 42. That means she is of hearty stock. Too bad <Wanna> find someone else.

WannaBe: Officially Semi-Retired, turned in my badge, laptop, and company cell-phone 4 days ago...

Day one of doing nothing but sitting on my a$$, (wait, this is really no different than being at work... But without the annoying co-workers and micro-managers)

Jan-04-23  technical draw: In other words <WannaBe> you are now just a bum. I see you asking for change for a 40 and joining the tent city in LA. And if you think I'll help you out with my secret formula you're wrong. Get a sign and go to a street corner or get a squeegee. The great synagogue of LA might give you a hand out. Just tell them I sent you. Panhandling us good too. Good luck.

keypusher: <Hi <Keypusher>, sorry to butt-in on your forum, why would a lawyer picked a case where the defendant may not have the money to pay for the work?>

Publicity or the lawyer thinks the case is important. Generally, though, a defense lawyer will look pretty hard at how a prospective client will pay, because that is how the lawyer makes a living.

Jan-04-23  technical draw: <The synagogue won't let me in, no Yarmulke...>

Yes, I can see. The Yarmulke won't cover your ears.
