 | | Check It Out: <OCF> thanks, I think the ones have got it now. |

Jan-11-18
 | | chessgames.com: Wow, this forum has only 177 pages all of a sudden! Site historians can look for all of the archived posts here: User: chessgames.com (archived). |
|
Jan-11-18
 | | chessgames.com: The "search thread" feature (for premium members) will search both the main thread and the archived thread simultaneously. Search Kibitzing in general will work that way, it makes the line between the archive and the recent posts invisible. |

 | | Check It Out: <CG> A terrific idea archiving the heavy post loads in an easily accessible format. CG just a Usain Bolt shot! |
|
| Jan-11-18 | | WinKing: <chessgames.com: Is it just me or does CG seem faster?> It *is* definitely faster. :) |
|
| Jan-11-18 | | WinKing: I'm still showing over 9000 pages in the Rogoff forum. You want to make the site even faster knock off about another 8000 pages there. |

 | | saffuna: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! (Cuba Gooding Jr. voice) I've dropped to #7. Fantastic. |
|
Jan-11-18
 | | chessgames.com: There are 9000+ in the Rogoff archive but 2593 in the main thread. That’s still an enormous number but much more manageable. This might evolve into a system where anytime a thread goes over “n” pages an archiving takes place. |

|
| Jan-12-18 | | WinKing: Where do we look to find these various (archived) forums? Or are you still working on that. |

 | | offramp: <saffuna: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! (Cuba Gooding Jr. voice)> That reminds me that for Suba vs J Schwertel, 2011, from the European Seniors Championship (2011), I submitted the pun <Suba Good In Senior>, but it hasn't been used. |
|
| Jan-12-18 | | Alien Math: <chessgames.com: Is it just me or does CG seem faster?> pages appear much faster, light load from archive banking of pages seem to help much |
|
Jan-12-18
 | | offramp: Possibly by accident, the kibitzing statistics now once again include posts to the off-topic pages. |

 | | chessgames.com: <WinKing: Where do we look to find these various (archived) forums? Or are you still working on that.> We are still working on it, as it's not obvious, but it's there. Go to the bottom of the kibitzing where you post your message, and note the "Search thread: ________" feature. Now there is a toggle <ARCHIVE: [ON] [OFF]>. |

 | | chessgames.com: <Possibly by accident, the kibitzing statistics now once again include posts to the off-topic pages.> No, that's intentional. It was fun to see the other list, but now it's reverted to what it claims to be, the people who post the most. |

 | | saffuna: "Cuba Gooding Sr." |
|
Jan-12-18
 | | offramp: Mihai Suba won that year's senior championship. He was very good in it. Cuba Gooding Sr was Jr's dad and a well-known musician and singer. |

 | | chessgames.com: <Cuba Gooding Sr.> Ahhhhh thank you! It is very witty indeed. |

|
Jan-12-18
 | | chessgames.com: The amount of "Fuel" received daily for our Analysis Laboratory feature has been upped from 100 to 150. Plus, we just topped off everybody's tank at 2000. <Carlsen-Caruana for the live game tomorrow?> Oh, I didn't know the pairings are up. Yeah, that's a pretty hard game to top. Look for it soon at the Live Broadcast Page. |

saves it under "Recent Analysis."
It can be viewed with the Olga Viewer.
How many games can be stored that way?
(assuming you delete fume positions you may have checked) |
