Tabanus: <If you have an xtab, the PGN should be able to reproduce it.>

If you have an xtab, you have an xtab. And the pgn is usually not able to sort it right based on tiebreak criteria.

Tabanus: Switch makes sense as usual. <that's a very low priority> I wouldn't even consider it. Better do it by hand, even if 1100 of them, by the use of Chess-Results, Chess24 and official sites. Preferably before these disappear, so it would be best to start with 2001.
Aug-24-18  zanzibar: I guess the Ferrari is going to stay up on the cinder blocks then.

I agree with <Telemus> about much of the <CG> business:

<Telemus: <ughaibu> Of course, I know such game collections. One has to put together the games one by one, and this was also <MissS>'s suggestion ... but I hate such stupid work, and so I refused. Instead my text is generated automatically while I had a bottle of wine and watched the rapid games in Saint Louis. At the end I created a game collection and copied the results therein.

Links could be generated automatically as well, if the CG pgn download would contain the game ids (as CB databases do).>

Jose Raul Capablanca (kibitz #6804)

Maybe folding in the idea of stubs, however good an idea, was pushing the point - but doing 1100 tournaments by hand?!

Have a way to generate the standings (or xtab) from the PGN, automatically.

It may be inaccurate, but it can note that, and be tweaked by hand later.

As for low priority, sure, but getting some machinery in place to update 1k+ tournaments in a single go sounds like a pretty ROR on the investment involved.

<tweaked by hand later> Just do it.

I apologize for giving Daniel a heart attack, and then carrying on with my crocodile tears for 3 weeks.

^^. Just bringing your attention to the fact you're allowing a mental patient to roam freely around this site accusing people of murder and other normal stuff, lol. 🤷

Could it possibly be you're a mental patient? I'm just letting you expose yourself. You're welcome.

Anyways.. I apologize for Big Pawn's divisive behaviour as he posts from a mental asylum, I mean Alex Jones gets the boot from <everywhere>. <Big Pissflap> gets to roam freely. God bless America, lol 🖕🇺🇸

saffuna: <Tuxy. You're a pathetic little man. End of :)>

Don't worry, <winston>. He's demonstrating that openly to everyone.

Aug-24-18  Big Pawn: Until I learn otherwise, and can verify it beyond hearsay, I hold <Winston> responsible for a large part of the stress that killed poor Daniel. The guy was here constantly dragging Daniel into his personal drama, all of which he caused himself, and abused the man endlessly for years on end.

Then he up and dies and <Winston> is here with this EXTRA LONG FACE, going around, wearing black for a month, and generally carrying on in a most disgusting way.

It's like Barzini at Vito's funeral.

Just got tired of him masquerading around like he did, and I don't give a rat's ass if someone doesn't like it or thinks I'm inappropriate. Don't care at all.

It's just that somebody needed to set the record straight, and I'm the man for the job.

<Winston> and sod off.

Aug-24-18  zanzibar: <<saff> How can I see who another poster has on ignore?>

<saff> normally you can't, but some <CG> members advertise their i-lists on their profile page.

Just quote who you're quoting, and you generally don't need to worry about who-has-who on ignore.

(And use the date perma-links to reference comments, another essential tidbit for ignoring ignore effects)

It's enough when I say it is. It doesn't matter if it's proven or not, because I said until proven otherwise, I will choose to believe as I do. <Winston> harassed Daniel to death, abused him endlessly in the admin forum and carried on daily, dragging him into legal battles and everything. What I'm saying is if Daniel died suddenly of a heart attack then <Winston> stuck at least one knife in his back with all the stress he added to the man.

And it's worth saying because after the way he treated Daniel, he has the balls to turn on the crocodile tears and blubber on and on about him for three weeks, obviously pushing himself as chief mourner.

A disgusting display. If anything, he should have come to the admin forum and apologized for all the hell he put him through. Instead, he was like Tony Soprano showing up to someone's funeral whom he had a part in killing.

< saffuna: I think I need to reconsider my negative comments about <morfishine>.>

Well there you go. The birds of a feather do flock together.

Aug-24-18  morfishine: <Big Pawn> Thats not the point, its just that your opinion has been relentlessly driven home by yourself and others. We all get that, but in the end, its just unprovable opinions

Why, to what end do you continue to do so?

And don't think I'm rushing to the defense of <DWOB>. I just think that something that is unprovable should be left alone if for no other reason than to spare members here at <CG> of all this venom

And please leave <saffuna> out of this discussion, at least for now

For the simple reason that I don't feel thoroughly expressed yet. I think he should be shamed for his behavior and I'm shaming him for it. He has the balls to continue on like he didn't just expose himself as the biggest hypocrite on the whole website. Does he really think that everyone doesn't know he was laying it on thick enough to spread with a towel?

These lowlife, criminal con men types always think they have everyone fooled. What they don't realize is that most people are silently thinking, "You think I believe that?" as they stare back blankly at them, and the con man criminals think to themselves, "Suckers! I'm so clever!".

On this site, everyone has had to deal with him causing a scene on the admin page. Now he's going to have to deal with me causing one for him.

What's provable is his hypocritical behavior. But I also happen to think he more or less added to Daniel's stress caused heart attack, if that end up being the case. If not, then fine, but he still has balls to mourn so loudly as he did when we all know he abused Daniel daily.

<Saffuna> is trying to crawl up your arse and sleep there, because he gets a woody when someone sets themselves against me. He tries to troll that way, and he's using you to do it.

In case you didn't notice.

I don't not either.

Aug-24-18  Big Pawn: < saffuna: <big pawn> continues to expose to everyone the person he is.>

I don't seek nor value the approval of any of you godless libs. You can know for sure, right now, undoubtedly, that I don't care one iota what any of you think about me. I do not fear nor respect they judgement of all you godless libtards.

I am not here to make friends.

I'm here to do <my thing> and I don't need anyone else to help me do that. Furthermore, the more you godless libs dislike me, the better I feel about myself. You can choose not to believe that if you want.
