Feb-01-11  Benzol: Chessgames I've just submitted a game between Mikhail M Yudovich and Sergey Belavenets. However, this player information is incorrect. Can you delete this submission. I've subsequently resubmitted it with the correct player information in which the white player was Evgeny Zagoriansky. Thanks in advance.

Feb-01-11  Lennonfan: <chessgames.com>....one of the users on here with the name<domdaniel>has insinuated on one or two of his posts that im a homosexual, violated rules laid down by yourselves on numerous occasions by calling me a many abusive things(all personal abuse, please check?)comparing me with john lennons killer, amongst many many many other insults directed my way...very very upsetting! i trust you will deal with this man/woman accordingly as there is no place for people like this on this site...i will email you with all the posts i refer to,and hope you see as i do that this person does not belong on this site,as he/she contributes nothing regarding chess anyway..i wouldn't normally complain but this particular sad individual is i believe a danger to others, and perhaps himself/herself????very sensitive and venomous...this post will suffice for record....thank you cg.com staff

Domdaniel: <Dear, dear CG> I'm no fan of feuds and flaming, and <Lennonfan> is now on my Ignore list. First time I've had to deal with a troll infestation in this way, but there comes a time.

Let's just set the record straight, shall we? Here is that user's first post in my forum, quite unasked-for:

<Lennonfan> -- < <domdaniel> just had a look at your bio and previous kibitzing..you really do *TALK SOME CRAP*dont you? <jessicafischergroupie>...iv looked at your "bobby fischer loving, sad life, spinster, nearly 30 THOUSAND kibitzes in 5 or 6yr(ever left your house love?),cant play chess just like talking to people who can etc..etc..etc...bio before.....and you also really do *TALK SOME CRAP*....*maybe you should use your posh words and education to take shots at someone like me,instead of less fortunate kibitzers who fail to understand your *crap*?? Just a thought..>

All I said here was "No, that's not a thought". More spew followed from Len.

Nice, ain't he? At that point I simply asked him to apologize to Jessica, then leave and never come back. He upped the ante instead, with more spew, all illiterate, poisonous, and apparently deeply disturbed. I deleted a few of his posts which attacked people who had supported me, then I put him on Ignore.

When somebody plays an interesting chess game and posts it in my forum, I analyze it. When a psychological mess with serious hang-ups about "so-called intellectuals" shows up, I analyze this phenomenon too.

I certainly did not try to imply that he was homosexual - he doesn't appear to have enough wit or style to do it properly. What I said was that his problem was "like homophobia" - his hatred of intellectuals (whatever *they* are) masking deep-rooted yet unadmissible urges. Big difference.

Obviously, this individual completely fails to grasp how things work on CG. He's violated a ridiculous number of guidelines, and yet feels that *he* has the right to make a complaint.

Of course I played around with him for a bit before doing the Ignore thing. Hard to resist, really, when challenged by somebody so, uh, challenged. And I might have gone on tossing Lemmings off cliffs for days, but I have others to think of. Responsibilities. Friends. Forum regulars. The general CG community.

So I disposed of the nuisance. End of. I don't care what, if anything, you do with him. Maybe he'll grow out of this phase. I don't care.

But I won't sit idly by while *he* accuses *me* of all the stuff he does himself.

Hmmm, that's a bit like homophobia too, actually. Maybe I was right all along.

Smooches,

"Domdaniel" aka "Dumb daniel"

Feb-03-11  Lennonfan: <CG.COM STAFF> i understand from certain other users here at this site that you've had trouble with user<domdaniel>before, and trust you'll deal with him in the appropriate manner...as you can see from his above post he's a particularly nasty, eccentric, and deeply disturbed individual, and with a delete button at his disposal can and did call me very offensive things then wiped the comments from his forum when his brain has actually caught up and realised he's violated rules here..personal attacks and name calling should remain in the schoolyard, although i myself am guilty of responding to this vile creature..thank you for your time CG staff <lennonfan>

Feb-07-11  Lennonfan: <CG.COM STAFF>Iv already mentioned the problem i,and other users have with user<DOMDANIEL>yet after 3 days away from this site not kibitzing on anything, when i return i see that he again is using insulting *cryptic*,and also obvious references to me whenever and wherever possible! As my username is lennonfan you dont have to be "a writer who insults people for a living"in dom's words to see that he's constantly refering to me(even discussing what part of the country i originate from!!!) Very strange and worrying behaviour im sure you'll agree? ...also user<ANNIE K>whom iv never addressed, nor spoke to on anything especially chess which this site is for, seems to in her words"have a lot to say"recently, mostly refering to me yet again! If you check her posts you will see...i dont want to go on the *defensive*or even *offensive*with either but unless these people are addressed by yourselves i will deal with them myself which will only result in complaints from them...please take the appropriate measures..thanks

  jessicafischerqueen: Excuse me <administrators>-

This <Lennonfan> is spamming off topic attacks on <Domdaniel> on player pages, targeting pages that <Dom> has already posted on, including his own player page.

<Lennonfan> is polluting player page threads with spam. He has been doing it for weeks, and I have blown the whistle repeatedly and you have done NOTHING.

How long will you allow this to continue?

Do you feel any sense of loyalty at all to longstanding members like <Dom> who have contributed so very much to your project here?

Why are you allowing this <Lennonfan>- who has contributed NOTHING to your project- to stalk <Dom> and insult him all over this website until he doesn't feel comfortable to log in?

When are you going to enforce your own posting guidelines?

Go to <Lennonfans'> profile- click on his recent posts- and see for yourself that they are indeed OFF TOPIC SPAMMING and PERSONAL ATTACKS ON ANOTHER USER- and <domdaniel> singled out as the only recipient of these attacks?

Why have you not done a single thing to investigate this matter properly?

Unbelievable- I expect a lot more from you people. A great deal more.
