Dec-21-11  Colonel Mortimer: <Kimmel:> <Please dispense justice.> <Are you kidding? There is no justice in cg. :)>

True - it appears <AJ> has yet to be put in the naughty corner. Maybe Santa will deliver him a sack of potatoes for Xmas.

TheFocus: When <Life Jerk> leaves the site... then the bashing will stop. Cheers,

-Focus

Time to expose the loser, E. Schiller.

Dec-21-11  LIFE Master AJ: He never wrote a chess book worth buying, most are filled with childish errors.
Dec-21-11  Colonel Mortimer: <LIFE Master AJ:> <He never wrote a chess book worth buying>

That's one more book than you.

Dec-21-11  brankat: <Chessgames.com>

This should have been posted on <Chessgames Chessbookie>'s page, but he has not been seen in about 2 weeks.

The last time there was any betting available at the Bookie's was on Dec-12. Now, a big chess event, Women's World Team Championship is in progress (third round). It would be nice to see some action before the end of the Fall leg. Thank You.

Dec-21-11  brankat: <CG> Wishing You guys a very Merry Christmas!

tpstar: <chessgames.com> This is officially beyond ridiculous. Eric Schiller has been an active member of the group since 2005 and has never had any qualms about his identity, or his ultra-liberal ideology, and he is surprisingly tolerant of flamebait on his player page. There is absolutely no reason why he would create another (Premium) handle just to torment <LIFE Master AJ>; besides, <Eric Schiller> has announced many times that medical problems are limiting his kibitzing and his career. Moreover, the other user in question revealed his true identity months ago, if you were paying attention. Worst of all, here Mr. Goldsby calls Mr. Schiller a "loser" who "never wrote a chess book worth writing" due to "childish errors" which are all personal attacks.

Over the last several months, <LIFE Master AJ> has abused your chessforum multiple times expecting special treatment. He will post noble statements like "The funny thing is that if everyone (myself included!) followed the posting guidelines (and stuck to chess) there would be no problems" and "If enough people do 'blow the whistle,' maybe the staff here (on this website) will finally take the appropriate kind of action" and "rise above the stupidity and the petty silliness" and such. Then he turns around to call someone a "twisted, sick, psychotic piece of trash" and constantly complains about "trolls" and "the Troop" attacking him which presumably justifies his "retaliation" efforts. As has been pointed out many times, this is a convenient double standard, since the worst rulebreakers are always the first ones who run here insisting that everybody else must follow the rules.

Snap out of your denial. You know people have left the site because of him, and you remember <Benjamin Lau> just like we do. You realize how wide his dossier has become, since you get to delete his bicker threads one post at a time. You recall back in 2005 when you spent one third of your time cleaning up kibitzing on classic games, and surely you have better things to do then and now. You saw the Libel, and now these unflattering comments about a noted author which won't be good for your business either. You understand that he has been a continuous problem for the last seven years.

Neither a documented mental illness nor an obvious personality disorder are acceptable rationalizations for repeatedly violating the Posting Guidelines. If <LIFE Master AJ> cannot participate here without breaking the rules on a daily basis, then he needs to be gone. He has caused way too much damage already.

Thank you.

moronovich: I strongly support the words of <tpstar>.

Every single one.

Dec-21-11  brankat: Right on <tp>! Way to go.
Dec-21-11  matebay: < I strongly support the words of <tpstar>. Every single one.>

I oppose the words of <tpstar>. Every single one.

Let's take a vote...

Everyone who feels tpstar's bolts and nuts need some adjusting. say <Long Live Wesley So...the greatest chessplayer who ever lived!>

Dec-21-11  Colonel Mortimer: <tpstar> Fine words and sentiments.
Dec-21-11  Kimmel: I nominate <matebay> to be banned instead.

FSR: I <emphatically> agree with tpstar's comments. AJ has also recently driven away Alexandre Kretchetov (DrMAL), a strong FIDE Master who made very valuable contributions to the site - unlike AJ, whose net contribution to the site is heavily negative. Indeed, I found Kretchetov's analysis to be the most insightful of <any> regular contributor to the site. The loss of him is really a tragedy for the site.

AJ's gratuitous attack on Eric Schiller, including his bizarre suggestion that TheFocus is Schiller's sockpuppet, is unconscionable. As we all know, Schiller has had severe health problems in the past year, including having to have his leg amputated because of his diabetes. He doesn't need or deserve this crap.

Dec-21-11  matebay: <The loss of him is really a tragedy for the site.>

Wait 'til I pack up my bags if you continue to ignore me...That would be the tragedy to end all tragedies.

Stonehenge: <CG> Merry Christmas and good luck with cleaning the Augean stables.
Dec-21-11  matebay: Hi Boss,

Don't listen to these clowns.

They have not lifted a finger by way of a philanthropic act ...unlike what <AJ> did for the Wesley So fans.

They should be the ones to be banned from this site.

Posting all negative craps about <AJ> when in reality, all they need is to do is to look in the mirror to see the monster they all imagine <AJ> to be...

<AJ> is an angel to us Wesley So fans.

SwitchingQuylthulg: <tpstar>'s post above is definitely spot on. <LIFE Master AJ> should have been booted from this site years ago, but it's not too late to limit the damage.
Dec-21-11  matebay: Hi Boss,

You need to call in another great flood. Have the ark ready for <AJ> and the Wesley So fans...Leave all the deluded folks behind...

When the <AJ>'s dove brings in the olive branch, CG would be a much better place to be.

Dec-21-11  matebay: Hi <AJ>.

I have done all I can to reciprocate your kind gesture...

The rest is up to our boss from up above.

Take care and just remember that we have not been remiss in our obligation of returning back the favor we owe you...

AJ GO GO GO...AJ FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT

Dec-21-11  King Death: I'm not the veteran here that the posters above are, but this is too much. If <AJ> can't treat people with simple decency, give him a size 12 to his backside. Outa here! Do this site a favor. <tpstar>'s right.

Domdaniel: Eric Schiller is a decent guy who has written several chess books worth buying. I'd single out his work on the Tarrasch Defense as being especially lucid. And I still have a soft spot for "Win with the Djin".

It's very sad to see Eric dragged into this stupid argument.

Domdaniel: With some sadness - because AJ's self-appointed enemies are not all paragons of virtue either - I have to say that <tpstar> is correct.

Short of banning AJ - who means well, sometimes, but gets carried away when attacked - you could at least officially notify him that he *causes* problems, while portraying himself as a victim.

I'm trying to be fair to both sides, but the attack on Eric Schiller was pathetic. Mr Goldsby needs a stern talking-to.

Dec-21-11  matebay: Speak up Boss...Your the judge here...the case has been in your docket for so long...still you chose to sit on it like a lady nearing climax.

The affairs of your state is in disarray for such a long time already because you behave like a non-functioning ombudsman.

Come to a decision already will you?

Please also provide the facts and arguments supporting your verdict.

Yours truly,

Humble servant and site police and enforcer.

Domdaniel: It’s not the end of the world. Or even the start of the final year.

<Misinterpretation of the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar is the basis for a New Age belief that a cataclysm will take place on December 21, 2012. December 21, 2012 is simply the day that the calendar will go to the next b'ak'tun.>
