Jan-13-12  TiburcioTinio: Thank you colonel.
Jan-13-12  Pyke: <Colonel Mortimer: I must say purely from an abstract point of view, the person who is counting the votes should count ALL the votes. It prejudices the Caissar awards when the person counting the votes has people on ignore, resulting in those persons votes being ignored.>

Of course you're right and there IS a point.

But my argument still remains, that if someone tries to sabotage the Caissars by only posting insults and nonsense it should be allowed to put this person on ignore.

Or simple: If you break the rules, then you forfeit your right to vote.

Jan-13-12  matebay: <They look down at us sir matebay. They are very angry when we stand up to them.> Wait until I become a premium member and I'll chose an avatar they won't bully around. How's this one?http://www.google.com.ph/imgres?q=b...
Jan-13-12  TiburcioTinio: Pyke please refer us to the page in wannabe's forum where iking and nanobrain posted insults or nonsense which justified their ignore? And where is it in caissar's rules does it say that a voter can be deprive of right to vote if the host thinks he's not likeable?
Jan-13-12  matebay: <Thank you colonel.> Count me in. The colonel is a full bloodied cowboy...he's a rhinestone cowboy...an urban cowboy...a midnight cowboy...I will surrender my gun, holster and my girl to him when I enter his county.
Jan-13-12  TiburcioTinio: I feel honored being with you here now sir matebay. You are a true patriot, like Gat Andres Bonifacio.
Jan-13-12  matebay: Thanks <tibs>. You're not so bad yourself. How are you related to national artist Rolando Tinio?

http://www.google.com.ph/imgres?q=t... lol..

Jan-13-12  matebay: <tibs> wrong picture...I meant General Manuel Tinio

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...

Jan-13-12  TiburcioTinio: Gen. Tinio, youngest general of the KKK, was my greatx3 grandpa sir matebay.
Jan-13-12  matebay: <general of the KKK> You're great grandfather even outranks <colonel> mortimer.
Jan-13-12  MORPHYEUS: The people ignored were <matebay>, <iking>, <nanobrain>, <morphyeus>.

What an electoral fraud.

Downright shameful and blatant.

Jan-13-12  MORPHYEUS: <<matebay: <Wannabe> stands guilty. Out from the blue and without any provocation, he started the rampage and aggravated the melee that ensued in the Wesley So page when he unloaded his artillery of insults to the Wesley So fans>>

The truth, only but the truth, and nothing but the truth.

Jan-13-12  MORPHYEUS: Daniel Freeman will not tolerate this if he learned what happen.

Coz Daniel, the boss got integrity.

Jan-13-12  matebay: Daniel you're a star in the face of the sky..

OhioChessFan: Let me tread through this mess and offer my opinion. Daniel Freeman has nothing to do with the Caissars. However, he has visibly linked to them on the homepage, so to some degree he should be concerned about how the contest is run and how the members of the site are treated there. As for <wannabe> I think it was a mistake to have anyone on ignore during the voting period. I think there would be a big difference between putting them on ignore some time ago (and forgetting they were there), and putting them on ignore after the nomination process started. I almost suggested to him at one point to make sure he had cleared his ignore list but didn't remember to tell him. In either case, it was a mistake and I think <wannabe> knows that.

As for the fallout, I have a simple question. What do you want? If you want to complain on the site administrator's page for another 50 posts, I don't think you're going to get much sympathy. Would there have been a different winner of some category if the uncounted votes were included? If not, I think a single post explaining your position and detailing your frustration would have been sufficient, and in fact would have been more helpful to your cause than the current rants. So, what do you want?

Just my thoughts.

Jan-13-12  TiburcioTinio: Personally I would like a sincere apology FROM THE WRONGDOER. Not attempts to justify. Not an arrogant WHAT DO YOU WANT?
Jan-13-12  TiburcioTinio: And what do you mean ANOTHER fifty posts? Have we done 50 already?
Jan-13-12  matebay: <So, what do you want?>

I want to vote for LMAJ. I tried to enter the stargate to warp to the voting precinct but <wannabe> still standing guard over his honeycomb like a bee. I was not able to gain entry.

Jan-13-12  matebay: Also, I would like to vote for <nanobrain> for funniest kibitzer low class, low brow category...
Jan-13-12  TiburcioTinio: Even pres.gma said I am sorry when caught with hello garci election scandal.
Jan-13-12  matebay: <Even pres.gma said I am sorry when caught with hello garci election scandal.>

http://youtu.be/SEK2plG_HGQ

Jan-13-12  TiburcioTinio: Calling it just a mistake shows bias too. These guys were still not on ignore DURING the nominations. Putting them on ignore before the voting clearly has a malicious motive and not a simple mistake.
Jan-13-12  TiburcioTinio: After the fraud was exposed his allies were all silent with Pyke even trying to justify the ignore. It was only when sir matebay began kibitzing about it here that some eventually and hesitantly said wanabee did something wrong.
Jan-13-12  matebay: <Calling it just a mistake shows bias too.> Same with GMA...he was out to get FPJ...God rest his soul.
Jan-13-12  technical draw: Allow me to retort. <mb> and <TT> have been members for only a few months. <WannaBe> has been a member and a class act for 8 years. Now, you may have a valid complaint but may I suggest you tone down the rhetoric and try to mend things for the next events? This site is a chess (meaning fun) site, it's not the United Nations or the Supreme Court.

It's also a community so you shouldn't think of members as "us and them".

Enjoy your stay, become premium members and get the full value of this site. Also there are other groups that meet at certain forums with like interests. Happy new year to all.
