The rules for number of past distinct forum kibitzes seems pretty disorganized and haphazard. Plus, why can't I have a little bit of control over the list length myself. If the kibitzes were distributed over 10 forums, they will all appear on the list; however, if they were in fewer forums, then you will see only the most recent post in each of those forums. You will find some profiles (I mention <Softpaw>'s by way of example) in which only *one* post is visible. This occurs because all 10 of his most recent posts appeared in one forum. I'm not sure if I'm explaining this very well. If not, let me know, and I'll try to clarify. ∞ |

So if you make N posts on the same forum it would only show 1 page. It's not particularly smart like that, but that's what's going on. (As you probably know there is a 'more...' link that shows more kibitzing; what it actually does is increase the value of N.) |

How many accounts do you have? By my count it must be over 100. We even tried to be nice by letting you have one account (toktorook) to use, hoping that if you just had one account and we didn't ban you, you'd stop making new ones, and then people who wanted to ignore you could do so. But that wasn't good enough for you: you continued your pathological sockpuppetry and soon we saw a dozen new accounts created, presumably to turn the lone voice of toktorook into a chorus. So for the record, that is why we ban you and your many incarnations. |

If, for example, "toktorook" says "I never said that," I or anyone else would have to check through at least 15 user names to see if this is true. And that's only if I can remember all the different user names. |

Probably the wisest course would be to address the underlying problem and make it actually find the "10 most recent pages you posted", rather than the unintuitive "pages of the 10 most recent posts." |
