Peligroso Patzer: The 38-move draw, Ivanchuk vs. Leko, played on 14 July 2013, is currently missing from your games database, as well as its result from the standings compilation for FIDE Grand Prix Beijing (2013).

  chessgames.com: <notyetagm> Got it, thanks: Universiade (2013).

Do you happen to know, was the playoff game
Z Andriasian vs W So, 2013 played under rapid time controls?

Annie K.: <cg> it was Armageddon, confirmed by Susan Polgar.
Jul-20-13  cro777: At the Universiade, initially, officials wanted to give 2 golds. But FISU ruled it out since the Universiade gives only one gold. So the officials decided on the Armageddon and called the two players.

The player who wins the drawing of lots may choose the color. The player with the white pieces receives 5 minutes, the opponent with the black pieces receives 4 minutes whereupon, after the 60th move, both players receive an increment of 3 seconds for each move from move 61. In case of a draw the player with the black pieces is declared the winner.

Zaven Andriasian won the toss coin and chose white.

Thanks! :-)

Jul-20-13  cro777: Alexandra Kosteniuk won the 2013 Swiss National Chess Championship (in men's competition), a 9 round Swiss with a classical time control.

In the 113 years long history of the Swiss championships it is for the first time that a woman wins the championship. (Kosteniuk has the Russian and the Swiss citizenship).

chessgames.com: <notyetagm> <Can we please have a forum for the great <BIEL> tournament, which starts tomorrow?> Done.

<notyetagm> <<CG.COM> I just submitted the PGN given below. Any idea how long it will take to get accepted into the CG.COM database??> There's an incredibly long queue which gets processed in a somewhat unfair order. It's hard for us to put a timeframe on it. Please just have patience and it will show up soon.

<In the 113 years long history of the Swiss championships it is for the first time that a woman wins the championship.> That's fabulous, we will have to get that online soon. I'm looking at the PGN right now, I suppose <NAT Grächen VS> is the event we want? Grächen is a city/region in Switzerland where the tournament took place we surmise? (There are also games from <HT2 Grachen VS> and <ST Grachen VS> which we presume were side events or something. We'll grab those games but we don't want to mix them into the main event.)

I can confirm that I, in fact, did win nothing for such a feat.
