| Jun-30-14 | | davide2013: I'd like to put this game in Guess the Move, as example of HOW Black should play the Alekhine: A Tarazi vs Hort, 1974
But the problem is that Black lost. I guess for time, because the position is won for Black. If I put it in Guess the Move, then it will be played as White, but White didn't play well. Is there any way to put it in Guess the Move, and make it play from the Black side? |

Blau vs J H Donner, 1958

 | | Check It Out: <chessgames.com: You mean to say when you go forward or backward a move, the entire board wiggles a little bit?> Hi CG, I looked more at this on my iPhone 5s. The board shifts left/right about a half millimeter when the move arrow is clicked forward or backward, also on auto-play. It only happens on particular moves and I would guess about 30% of the moves in a given game cause the shift. It's consistent; the same moves make the board shift upon repeated clicks. |

 | | chessgames.com: I've seen the wiggle effect. We're going to experiment by making the board a few pixels smaller and see if that solves anything. |

 | | chessgames.com: Let us know if it solved anything. I was able to make the wiggle effect go away on an iPhone 4. |

| Jul-02-14 | | notyetagm: Nodirbek Abdusattorov <JointheArmy: Just destroyed a 2600 GM> That is simply *amazing*.
Not even 10-years old and he has already beaten a 2600(!) in a slow rated gamed. N Abdusattorov vs A Zhigalko, 2014, 1-0 (!!!!) WOW!!!!

Svidler vs Karjakin, 2014
It is used as example by GM Muller, in the latest Chessbase magazine (issue 160) as dismounting a fortress, and then race in the endgame. There is an amazing sacrifice on move 64. |

 | | Stonehenge: Rudolf Johannes Loman: On top of the page it says 208 games, but below that it says games 1-25 of 209. I know this discrepancy happens after new games have been uploaded, but here it has been so for about a week (?). I don't know if this has anything to do with your editing of Amsterdam (1889). |

 | | chessgames.com: <Stonehenge> No that was just a case of his player record not having been updated in far too long, it has nothing to do with tournament editing. That's odd though, because he has the CG Star of Megaimportance. He was probably due to be reprocessed any time now, but I just did it by hand to make sure. |
