Annie K.: Ouch, ouch, ouch. ;s

<What would 5-dor Dostoievsky make of that?>

He would be delighted to learn he had such good market value, yet mortified to discover he had been pronouncing his own name wrong all his life?

(Fyodor/Fyodr is pronounced with the same vowels as Pyotr...)

MissScarlett: My submitted games of the Walbrodt-Delmar match have been uploaded, but the one I referenced earlier, with the reversed white King and Queen, doesn't show up in a head-to-head search from the main page, even though it's counted as a rapid/exhibition game, so it must be in the DB.
Jan-17-15  Gottschalk: <Benzol>
Where would you place the Lapps?
Demographically, they are part of the Scandinavian Peninsula. Just as findeses, they are not Aryans.
But culturally Finns belong to Scandinavian culture ... And the Lapps?
Jan-17-15  Gottschalk: <Domdaniel>

<Spanish influenza is the normal name in English for a strain of the 'flu virus thought to have originated in Spain. >

Your information has not brought any new element for me. There is a widespread saying in Brazil and Portugal:
"Não tente ensinar o Pai-Nosso ao vigário"
"Do not try to teach the Our Father to the vicar"

Jan-17-15  Gottschalk: <YouRang>
Same to benzol. And the Lapps?
Jan-17-15  Benzol: <Gottschalk> I forgot about the Lapps and we all forgot about the Faroe Islanders too. Does Greenland also count? Btw do you speak the Lapp language suomi? At one stage my sister had an exchange student staying with her who was from that part of the world.

Domdaniel: <Benzol> I never forget the Faroes. A fine archipelago with a distinctive language. But many Finns regard 'Suomi' as *their* language ... just as some people find 'Lapp' offensive.

<Annie> Oops. I thought there was *some* Indo-European language where 'Fyo' meant 'five', but now I can't think which one... Fem? Cuig? Pieci? ... Naah.

Jan-18-15  fgh: <Chessgames.com>, why have you not taken action yet against <lainulo> and <bulibug>? I have even blown the whistle, yet nothing has happened. The person behind those socks (<tolengoy>) is constantly flooding the Tata Steel 2015 page with irrelevant nonsense. It's time to do something about it.

Tabanus: Hi <CG>, the Chigorin - Tarrasch Match (1893) has no country code added in the site field. On the "NOMINATE GAME COLLECTION" page, perhaps add a separate field (next to Site) for country code? So that the two will be merged when voted in.
Jan-18-15  john barleycorn: <fgh: ... The person behind those socks (<tolengoy>) is constantly flooding the Tata Steel 2015 page with irrelevant nonsense. ...>

Imagine it was relevant nonsense. What then?

Jan-19-15  Rolfo: I have ended my premium membership because CG.com let trolls take over the pages
Jan-19-15  Gottschalk: <Benzol>
Well remembered.
I know very little about the Lapps,
but Understand que Scandinavian
Nordic and are not synonymous in most cases.
For example English and Dutch are Nordic,
but are not Scandinavian. But the Swede is Nordic and Scandinavian at the same time. The issue of language also confuses. Swedish (the language) is Balto-Slavic or Baltic-German? I think that should be Balto-Germanic, because the first Germanic alphabet comes from Sweden: the runic.
Jan-19-15  Gottschalk: <Domdaniel> and <All members>

In no time I said that I felt offended. I said
D.Freeman know how irritate and provoke
I can be irritated, but I'm not paranoid.
After observing the behavior of
D.Freeman for over seven years, I conclude that his reason to reject the games I sent is personal, keep waiting him to reveals the reason or say otherwise.

The Mr.Freeman's ability to insinuate is in Master level. Often he does coincide with strained situations, dubious titles. Note that the title "Spanish Influenza" coincides with our discussion on the site. That is, according to him I'm contaminating the site with games or in communicate me with other members.

Now, pay more attention, the Mr.Freeman temperament
little matter, but I am convinced that this temperament have influence in the site conducting. I'm putting in question his ability to judge, the information available to him and the validity of this information.

Since I came the forum to complain and do not intend to give up, he was and follows prejudicing me. This insistance is prejudicing all members. He could save us from this clash, simply adding the games or justifying his refusal.

ADD GAMES, I have this right,
It is WHAT INTERESTS ME HERE,
I didn't come to the forum with "@#$%*&!#"

To take so far this dispute Daniel Freeman must be mentally disturbed. Some artists seek inspiration in alcohol and drugs, Mr.Freeman uses our irritation for his inspiration.
I suspect of his honesty of purpose when omits Bobby
Fischer was Seventh-day Adventist.
Someone who once wrote that "FIDE is a French organization", is a biased person . It is too clear that FIDE is an international organ (Its first president was Dutch and its current headquarters is Athens, GRE) So it is worth asking!
Someone who refuses two works of art, as we have below, may be in his right mind?

Fusilli: <Gottschalk> As per your last post, you have submitted games that have not been uploaded. If your method for submitting games is posting them on a forum as you posted those two (the Kaidanov game and the Estevez game), then you are doing it wrong. There are rules for uploading games, and <CG> and any other web manager would go crazy (or just not see the games) if you don't follow them.

Then, it usually takes time to upload games after submission. <CG> is often busy.

Your post is quite a rant. Regardless of your complaint, I doubt you will get too far by calling him "mentally disturbed". You say that he doesn't upload the games you submitted because he doesn't like you and it's personal. You are not giving him many reasons to like you by insulting him like you did.

Maybe you should try again, using a non-confrontational, friendly or business-like tone. Maybe that will prompt <CG> to respond. If I were him, I would not respond either to someone who (figuratively speaking) yells at me and calls me names.

Just a suggestion. I hope it helps.

Domdaniel: <Gottschalk> I agree with Fusilli.

And, forgive me, but despite your protestations to the contrary, this -- <Note that the title "Spanish Influenza" coincides with our discussion on the site. That is, according to him I'm contaminating the site with games or in communicate me with other members.> -- qualifies as paranoia.

Domdaniel: On the linguistic issue: English and Dutch are West Germanic languages, not Nordic. Swedish, like Danish and Norwegian, is North Germanic. None of these have any direct link with the Baltic languages - a largely extinct branch of Indo-European, whose main surviving languages are Latvian and Lithuanian. Most IE scholars regard the Baltic languages as being more closely related to Slavic than to Germanic.
Jan-19-15  SugarDom: Hehe, i just challenged him to talk to me man to man and face to face and tell me what i did wrong.

You're gonna get it, boy. hehe
