| Jan-19-15 | | Gottschalk: <chessgames.com>
As a full member I have 3 questions
Do you are the head of a chess community or controls the site yourself?
Do you hear members or is the dictator type?
Why you did not comment on the rejected games? |

 | | Annie K.: <Gottschalk> as one of the many other full members here, I believe full membership entitles you to use the services already offered when you signed up, and be glad of the further improvements that keep coming. It does not entitle you to be rude and obnoxious to the site owner; he is not your servant. Daniel is a very pleasant man, and that you can still post here at all is an eloquent testimony to his great tolerance. It's not his job to explain to every person who submits faulty PGN where their mistakes are - if he did, he'd be doing nothing else. You have been shown by other members that the PGN you submitted was faulty, yet still persist in attributing its rejection to personal issues. Are you incapable of processing new information and reevaluating situations accordingly? |

| Jan-20-15 | | fgh: <chessgames.com>, will you please listen to me?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Here is <tolengoy>'s latest trolling: <pinoy king: Carlsen played e5 because rad had 30 seconds left. Carlsen uses cheap tactics like making silly moves and complications that aren't the best when his opponent is in time trouble. Carlsen is a true time player. Not much skill.> I blew the whistle about 2 days ago. Nothing has happened. |
|
| Jan-20-15 | | rogge: I'm afraid it's not against the posting guidelines to make stupid comments. |

 | | Fusilli: <fgh> I have not seen your prior complaints, and I cannot speak for <CG>, but it seems to me that the example you just posted does not violate the website's posting rules or etiquette. Is it nonsense to say that the world champion doesn't have "much skill"? Of course it is. Is it offensive? Well... most of us set the "offensive" bar much higher. We have had posts calling Fischer names, calling Kasparov names, etc... they make for entertaining reading sometimes (and never mind the tone you can find on the Kenneth Rogoff page now and then). But in the heat of sport debates, banter, and trash talk (without getting into a discussion of whether chess is a sport), saying that a top player has little skill is almost par for the course. Again, I can't speak for <CG>, but we've seen nonsense posts before. As long as they don't offend people along the lines of race, sexual orientation, religion, and so on, we tend to tolerate them, ignore them, and chill. The default position of the website is to maximize freedom of speech and to give the benefit of the doubt until an offensive poster has gone too far. Now, if the user you denounce is flooding a page with millions of posts, that may qualify as a violation of posting rules. Just my two cents. |

| Jan-20-15 | | fgh: <tolengoy> has been restricted before. Besides, his comments are often off topic and his socking is not welcome. |
|
| Jan-20-15 | | Jim Bartle: He's using three different names at the moment. |

| Jan-20-15 | | Gottschalk: <Annie K.>
The way Daniel treats you is beside the point. The point is how he treats me. At the moment he is avoiding me, this is a situation that hurts, I try asked him to accept the rejected games, but as his refusal is not rational, forced me to go public to report improper conduct. If you know well him please, make he change strategy. I consider myself an expert to submit PGN, already submitted thousands.
It's been over two weeks I have been submitting the same games, there is none error . Speaking of mistake, I often use the "submit a correction slip" button. Daniel
would correct misconceptions ECO here at CG. He can start by ECO's A04 and A07, which are more common,
because of transpositions.
I quoted Daniel nominally and he was not positioned on a refused games. If this keeps up, people will think
he's no arguments. In fact he is like Hitler
on Stalingrad, ready to lose everything by an obsession. Someone needs to take this stupid idea of Daniel's head. |

| Jan-20-15 | | Gottschalk: <Dom>
Your conversation displeases me, among other things
because push me away of my objectives.
You talk too much, but its biggest defect is to be a bad observer.
Your immediate help in concordance to Freeman's cause
reveals ardent "pathos"
I cannot waste my time with you
"Aquila non capit muscas"
Now, with purpose to offend, I'm adding you to my ignore list |

Jan-20-15
 | | chancho: I've submitted John Curdo games that have not yet being uploaded. Some have gone months without uploading, and I'm not losing any sleep over that. <Gottschalk> You are overeacting. |
|
| Jan-20-15 | | Gottschalk: <Fusilli>
I believe that before you make your comment, you have not
read all the posts I sent from Jan-03-15 date, (Kibitzing 763)
there is the brilliant Kaidanov win.
As the Estevez Moralez win, you find dated Jan
-08-15 (Kibitizing 764) or Jan-13-15 (kibitizing 765).
That's why I say, pay more attention before commenting
In addition, these games were posted on PGN Upload
several times, been systematically rejected.
Sometimes I explained the reason for them to be accepted,
patiently.
Interestingly, I have posted about 20 games in 2015,
one of them was accepted.
Before saying that, it should be said that I am Brazilian.
This was D Levy vs H Camara, 1970
I keep in touch via email with Daniel Freeman, something I have said before,
communicating me with <Domdaniel>
in Jan-12-15 (kibitizing 765). I know Mr.Freeman to accept defeat of a Brazilian is making a sign.
Fusili, there are several factors you do not know, for example
that I was free member for 6 years and still keep my
old nicks. I know you are Argentine, so let me say that I made
the bases Game Collection: Campora - the Giant bases and
Game Collection: Don Miguel
I who made them.I'm waiting the opportunity to try to include in the site Brillantes Partidas Argentinas from the Puiggros book .
Late last year I made that D.Freeman accept a batch of 50 games of Carlos Alejandro Martinez Since then he has refused to add games sent for me
I have been committed to make the world see that the
South American chess there, if some people hate me for it,
I think it's a fair price.
I thank you for not taking my reason, giving reason to stronger
(in this case, cg founder and owner)
And thank you for your suggestion |

| Jan-20-15 | | Gottschalk: <chancho>
I respect your opinion, because, Although contrary, is polite and within the rules. |
|
Jan-20-15
 | | Fusilli: <Gottschalk> Well, okay, by my point was that you are unlikely to achieve much from <CG> with a confrontational tone. If there is a history of <CG> accepting your corrections and other games submitted (the Martinez batch), maybe something made him change his mind and classify you as unreliable or something. But <Chancho>'s point is worth keeping in mind. BTW, parts of your message I don't understand ("I know Mr.Freeman to accept defeat of a Brazilian is making a sign"... not sure what that means... I doubt he takes nationality into account when making his decisions.) But I appreciate your interest and promotion of South American chess. I think you have made your protest clear and all left to do now for now is wait a bit to see if <CG> has something to say. As <Chancho> said, sometimes <CG> can go for a long time without addressing requests. I'm sure the site handles a big volume. |

 | | SwitchingQuylthulg: <Fusilli> I'm afraid that <Gottschalk> is right when he says you (and many others here) are not aware of the full picture. His animosity with Daniel Freeman goes back a long way, and isn't just an overreaction to something that happened recently; a look at the "discussion" starting at Daniel Freeman (<Antiochus> is him under a previous username) may help complete the picture. |

 | | chancho: Congrats <hms123>!! |
|
| Jan-20-15 | | hms123: Thanks. It really was a team effort. So many people sent me paragraphs and comments and songs (<OhioChessFan>). People like <zanshin> and <crawfb5> and <kutztown46> and others edited draft after draft. Daniel Freeman did the same. <chesstoplay> got me involved in the first place. I had a lot of fun and made a lot of new friends throughout the process. The award really goes to all of you, which is why I posted it here. |
