Sep-27-22 | | diceman: <MissScarlett: I'm sure it's been suggested before but a priority should be the creation of templates to automatically generate cross tables for tournaments (whether SRR, DRR or Swiss) and results/progressive scores for matches, thereby greatly facilitating the work of the hapless biographers.> Shouldn't it be a priority to get the games on site first? <petemcd85:

 | | MissScarlett: Thanks. Nice results table there. I should point out that the time control is rapid, not blitz, according to FIDE rules. There are a few armageddon games that need sorting. <A ‘Rapid chess’ game is one where either all the moves must be completed in a fixed time of more than 10 minutes but less than 60 minutes for each player; or the time allotted plus 60 times any increment is of more than 10 minutes but less than 60 minutes for each player.A ‘blitz’ game’ is one where all the moves must be completed in a fixed time of 10 minutes or less for each player; or the allotted time plus 60 times any increment is 10 minutes or less.> |

Sep-29-22 | | stone free or die: Do you really like the check mark for the designation of the winner? I think I'd like to see a <bold-face> used for comparison (or even a gray background maybe). Not saying it would definitely be an improvement, but that it might be. |

Sep-30-22 | | ZoboBear 000000001: Who deleted my previous post about mating patterns, and why? That post had good content - and a very measured tone. And yes, it was totally factual - I did invent the "Railroad Mate", as well as the "Balestra", "Escalator" and others. I would like an explanation please. |

Sep-30-22 | | ZoboBear 000000001: Oh yeah, it was over on this game's forum:
R Brieger vs J Camarena, 1956 Seriously, I want an explanation. |

 | | MissScarlett: Quit stalking each other. It's embarrassing and creepy. |
|
Sep-30-22 | | ZoboBear 000000001: How about you and Hazz?
Anyways - I'm not stalking him, he's stalking me. And he does it to <perf> too. Check out his profile, that's something that <CG> shouldn't allow. But he doesn't get a free-pass due to his ill-manners to post gibberish on <CG>. I get to call him on it. And I actually was trying to be constructive in the commentary on mating pattern naming - believe it or not. Not then, straight up, did you delete my post <Missy>? A simple yes or not will suffice.
