Sep-07-18  thegoodanarchist: < Tabanus: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alt-r...

The alt-right movement is gaining ground, also in CG. I'm in Norway, and can only hope that the next US presidential election is free and fair.>

Don't make me barff. The USA is not a saintly country. No country is. But we are mostly free and fair in our elections.

I'd say fewer than 6 were really unfair. But it's close.

Not bad, though! 5 or less in 200+ YEARS? You gotta admit it - that's not bad.

I think the last election that could be contested was 18 years ago! Voters came of age since then!

Sep-07-18  thegoodanarchist: <saffuna: <tga>: <tpstar> said mentioning Webster or Susan Polgar in the bio is "involving themselves in his personal business. "

You cannot possibly agree with that.>

Well, I don't remember reading <tpstar>'s post that way. But I will say this - your reply on the chessgames.com user forum did not seem to be an attempt to get involved in "personal business". Not at all.

Note I am limiting this interpretation to what I read there in the past 2 days. I am not expanding beyond that. In the past 2 days, my impression is that you were NOT trying to get involved in the GM's family/personal business. That's all I will say.

<To be clear, I have never suggested that So's family relationships be included in the bio, as <tpstar> implied. Never.>

Well, I hope I can trust you on this matter. I definitely won't try to verify it myself. Too much involved

  saffuna: <Well, I don't remember reading <tpstar>'s post that way.>

There's really no other way to interpret it:?

<The fourth ulterior motive is they are desperate to be relevant, so involving themselves in his personal business (Webster, parents, Susan Polgar) gives them something to do.>

Sep-07-18  thegoodanarchist: <Big Pawn: Now <Winston> is trying to give the new <webmaster> a heart attack, like he did (likely) to <Daniel>.

He's not happy with one webmaster dropping dead suddenly, no! He's going to stress the next one out too, and <WHO KNOWS> what could happen!

Everyone saw him here daily, taunting <Daniel>, calling him a coward, threatening him, dragging him into legal disputes that dragged on forever - and then <Daniel> up and died. >

<BP> You are right. This guy <DWOB> is totally sick

It seems that his stint in prison did nothing to rehabilitate him. That's too bad.

I hope the new webmaster, this <Sargon> fellow (Lee), is less tolerant of <Mark>'s abuse. No use going to an early grave, just for the sake of enabling <Mark>'s horrific bile that he posts habitually.

I am thinking of asking the editors on this site to TAKE A STAND THIS TIME!

Stand up to <Mark Finan>'s abusive posts against <Sargon>

<Annie K> this means you! Not JUST you, other editors and users too. But it is time to stop enabling this doped up abuser & JAIL BIRD <Mark Finan>.

Sep-07-18  thegoodanarchist: <saffuna: <Well, I don't remember reading <tpstar>'s post that way.>

Jim, listen up.

He is <intentionally> vague. OK? He must have, for some reason, found this to be necessary over the past umpteen years.

Now why would that be?

Tony, if you are reading, I don't <blame> you for being intentionally vague. FYI.

<tpstar> was much less vague when he referred to the editors wanting to safeguard the academic integrity of the <So> page as "Vandals."

Which he did on numerous occasions.

  jessicafischerqueen:

<tpstar's> use of the word "vandals" with respect to the <So> page is vast, and actually would require some careful unpacking.

This is worth doing, if one wishes to find out what he *really* thinks about the issue.

Just put <tpstar> and <vandals> into the search kibbutzing box and you can make your own judgment on it.

I'll just say I'm not surprised that he didn't use the term "vandals" in the much more measured, albeit still TL;DR post he just made in this forum.

I doubt he wants to be that forthcoming, given the number of editors who have recently stated that they want the academic integrity of the <So> bio safeguarded.

Sep-07-18  thegoodanarchist: <jess> that is unfortunate. I don't know why he would do that. Maybe bias. Maybe heat of the moment.

And in the interest of full disclosure on my part, I illegally voted twice on a submission to the <Tournament Index>.

<Daniel> emailed me and told me that was not allowed. We had a discussion and he told me he would not "fire" me as an editor.

This is the incident referred to in this particular <tpstar "vandal"> post. In this case, I was indeed a "vandal":

chessgames.com chessforum (kibitz #26583)

He has brought this up dozens of times, so you can read more of his comments on this incident if you want. I recommend that anyone interested in his use of the term "vandals" in relation to the <So> page also take the time to read *all* of the results of a <tpstar vandals> search kibbutz of this forum.

I recommend it.

Sep-07-18  thegoodanarchist: <jessicafischerqueen:

Well, it must be a fabulous uffing website you are all enjoying, with your goldurn "kubbutzing boxes" and whatnot.

Well, I don't have no goddurn <kibbutzing box>, nor even no goddurn boxing day.

What I do have is a kibitzing thing search. And Imma gonna find it.

<The Good Anteater> lol

My posts might cross with yours too, so this is a reply to your post here: chessgames.com chessforum (kibitz #30774)

To be honest I was surprised to see <tpstar> come down on the side of <GM So> being allowed to control his bio without having to list that bio as <Written by Wesley So>. On the other hand <tpstar> spent years trying to bring some kind of order to the kibbutzing on the <So> page, particularly in the cases of numerous members criticizing and scolding <GM So>, and worse.

<Daniel> also tried to solve this problem by allowing an editor (Mr. X we can call him/her) to monitor the <So> page. That trusted editor had full administrative powers over the kibbutzing on the <So> page.

I know who that editor was, and I also know that the editor in question is no longer in the position of administrator of the <So> page.

Sep-08-18  Dr Winston OBoogie: In regards to Wesley So's bio...

<<JFQ: I predict a free pass, or a very light "slap on the wrist" for <tpstar> on this- the same free pass he got when he almost single-handedly blew up the entire website by race-baiting the Barangay.

They were largely friendly folks, inviting non-Pilipinos (myself included) to join in their kibbutzing, no complaints (yet) about them from <GM So>, and then in comes <tpstar> with his "little crusade," as <Acirce> put it at the time.>>>

Today?

<<On the other hand <tpstar> spent years trying to bring some kind of order to the kibbutzing on the <So> page, particularly in the cases of numerous members criticizing and scolding <GM So>, and worse.>>

Who you fooling "lady?". Which hand you dealing from today traitoress? 🤷

No hand involved, <Dr. O'Footy>. There's no contradiction there, just two sides on an issue I'm still divided over.

I didn't think <tpstar's> "little crusade" on the <So> page was justified at the time. I thought it was causing a lot of uproar for no good purpose.

Later, there was a watershed moment when <GM So> complained in public about harassment on his player page from "fans" who he didn't appreciate one bit. At this point <tpstar's> crusade rightly gained some traction with many, including me, and also <Daniel>.

Later still, for me the pendulum again swung the other way when <GM So> wanted his association with <Zuza Polgar> stricken from his record. Even today people speak of this event without mentioning her name- euphemistically speaking of "St. Louis" and the "chess club" and "training in America" without mentioning her.

I don't know what happened there, but I suspect there must have been some bad blood between them. <Zuza> went from "mentor" to "erased from history" and at this point people like <Jim> and <Ohio> started rightly to complain about it.

<Tony> at this point began to refer to this group as "Vandals."

Try to relax brah. I noticed that many of the names on your fake ignore list are also "mortal enemies" of your "mortal enemy" eh? I think the website would profit greatly if you and <Big Pawn> could agree to disagree, and refrain from blasting your feud all over the public pages.

Certainly the situation changed when all the controversy over So's family situation arose. A group of posters turned on So and attacked him constantly, and at that time it was perfectly reasonable to ban them from his player page.

Sep-08-18  Dr Winston OBoogie: Oh shut up! You've just been exposed as a fraud "lady". Go cuddle up to BP, you know the guy whose been bullying your so called best friend on this site for the last year! You people are exposing yourselves as liars, ass kissers and frauds in Daniel's absence.. Anyone can read what you said, I only posted it because you said this blatant lie..

<<tpstar> spent years trying to bring some kind of order to the kibbutzing on the <So> page, particularly in the cases of numerous members criticizing and scolding <GM So>, and worse.>>>

Which is it? Still trying to figure it out huh? Well they're your words love, I mean if it was me I'd either say I was wrong and apologize or say I was wrong and apologize.. Or something, lol.

You've lost your self respect and any credibility you might have had, don't speak to me or about me again.

Sep-08-18  JimNorCal: I hope we start getting new games again!
Would be great to have notification of upcoming tournaments and matches.

43rd Chess Olympiad will be held in Batumi, Georgia, from 23 September to 6 October 2018.

The World Championship 12-game match, organized by FIDE and its commercial partner Agon, will be played in London between 9 and 28 November 2018.

Sep-08-18  Big Pawn: <Winston the Webmaster Killer> is here bullying <JFQ> now and shames her for talking to me, because I've been bully <Beta Pickle> on the KC!

lols!

Unreal.

I think <Winston's> friends need to have a sit down talk with him. An intervention. He needs a little breaky break from <cg>.

Sep-08-18  Dr Winston OBoogie: <Big Pawn: <Winston the Webmaster Killer> is here bullying <JFQ> now and shames her for talking to me,>

A. Explain to Sargon how I "killed the webmaster"

B. I don't bully women unlike your unhinged ass. I think she's scared of you because why tf would <anyone with a brain> talk to a mong like you. And yes.. I do credit her with a brain even if she did once rip off a mental patient for <$1000>. Gotta be smart to rip off someone who faked their own death, came back, gave her 1k for her YouTube videos even though I made <£250,000> using an app on a phone.

<because I've been bully <Beta Pickle> on the KC!>

So you admit bullying Travis? That's Jess's friend, any friend who reads that won't be very happy with you homie, lol.

<lols!>

You think bullying Trav's funny?

<I think <Winston's> friends need to have a sit down talk with him.>

I <know> the "friends" I do have on this site can't stand you. They'll probably encourage me to do to you what you do to Travis.

<An intervention.>

Says the godless lib, lool.

<He needs a little breaky break from <cg>.>

Stop typing out what the voices in your head say! #TFTB 😂

Bring it fat boy! You want to turn this site into a circus you got it!

Sep-08-18  Dr Winston OBoogie: <I noticed that many of the names on your fake ignore list are also "mortal enemies" of your "mortal enemy" eh?>

Errmm. I only have one "enemy" and as far as I can tell all the mental patients hang around together! BP is an enemy of the site. Have you said anything true in the last week or what?

Sep-08-18  rogge: <thegoodanarchist: <rogge: Sure you are :) <default child custody has to go to the father in a divorce. It should be mandatory, no exceptions, that a wife divorcing her husband show cause to deprive him of his children>>

Your post makes no sense. No feminist would agree with what I wrote about child custody!

In fact, they'd want to hang me for it, no doubt.>

Who could blame them. Ever heard of irony, btw?

You got that wrong but I knew you'd fall for it, see I don't want to add to the workload. But you're not calming down so I'll behave like you and we'll see what happens. I've not even blown the whistle I've left Keyser Soze to waste his time so Sargon can see what an obsessive Muppet he is. I'll speak to Sargon eventually, I'm sure other people have complained about you. You made a big mistake accusing me of "killing Daniel Freeman" though, I'm sure Sargon will be as shocked as I was.

See you tonight. Same place don't be late <creep>.

Sep-08-18  Dr Winston OBoogie: Looks like Tux's lost his marbles LMAO

User: Mark Finan

<Mark Finan: I don't care what y'all crazy, insane, orange con man worshiping, D-Fed idolizing knobs think anymore. You Muppets want to be Tuxi's bitches, fine by me. The <DWOB> account is a shared account but that doesn't mean I don't agree with everything that's been said. The jokes gone on long enough and besides, I came here for the chess in the first place, not to waste my time arguing with mongs, nonces and people who are literally in a mental institution. I'm a finna wich yous! Real talk, I don't give a fück what y'all think about me.>
