The theory of ♕ endings has been turned upside down at least twice in my chessic lifetime. I have zines from the 1980s in which Edmar Mednis demonstrates wins in positions once thought drawn ... and later discovered to be drawn after all, if you walked the tablebase tightrope with the right amount of topspin and gyre.
