  jessicafischerqueen: <ragh>

Just so's you know...

Every time I see one of your posts I pick up my handy <Canadian flag>, wave it, and yell <Rah! Rah!>

heh

Jun-05-07  Ragh: <jess> Thats cool.. quite a patriot that you are.

jessicafischerqueen: OK <Wilson> if you're gonna put a <faux> pic of me up, let's get it right.

Find a pic with the approximate body of the first one you put up.

Hair length is right, but in the second pic it's not nearly blonde enough. Think <really> blonde, and not so pretty/glamorous as either of the two you already found (but not homely either- I look pretty ok, face-wise, I figure).

So please find one that has the approximate body of the first, same hair length, very blonde (straight and a little wavy) and not as pretty as <Posh Spice> for Cripe Sake.

This is like making a <police sketch> kinda!!

So please try one more time, and then I will officially sign off on it.

Yer pal Jess

jessicafischerqueen: <ragh> Yes I is, except in a political sense.

I'll be putting in a daily <Canadian Fun Fact> and <Chess quote> again just before I go to bed each day, now that I have time.

Jun-05-07  chessmoron: <jess> Did you see the exciting news in Dom's forum? I'm flipping out.

<NBA> National Black Association will start this Thursday.

If they win the title <Prof. Wilson> has to publicly grovel to <jess>!!

  jessicafischerqueen: Heh that is exciting!!

I just posted in my forum and in yours regarding the <police artist sketch photo of me you are trying to find>.

Could you try just one more time?

I left very specific instructions in my post, just a few posts up from this one.

We want a half shot with body and head-hair here.

I swear I'll sign off on the next one for good. I trust your <net finding> expertise.

Domdaniel: <Canadian flag> Does it still have a miniature union jack in the corner, or did they replace it with a stars'n'bars? Or maybe an infinite regress of <trippy> cannabis leaves, cunningly disguised as Maple?

There's a difference. If you put Cannabis Syrup on your pancakes, they turn red and become giant manta rays with lemon soul hearts.

Nontrivial Trivia: there are more people in Southern India speaking the Dravidian language Kannada than there are speakers of English, French, Inuktitut and Vietnamese in Canada.

According to the rules of 19th century nationalism, upper and lower Canada should now be provinces of India, while Newfoundland goes to the Welsh and Labrador goes to the dogs.

  jessicafischerqueen: <Dom> heh.

<Labrador> is disputed, both <Quebec> and <Newfoundland> claim it is theirs, but I doubt they'll go to war over it. Dunno which province has the most labs. Dogs are made in <labs> in Canada, btw.

No, the old <union jack inna corner> flag was dropped in 1967 for our <Centennial>.

<Pearson> held a nationwide contest to come up with a new flag, which was won by a little girl, I think. Or a dog. Can't member which.

Domdaniel: <Jess> that smooth ...b5 in your latest game with Elixir ... hard to say this early, but your play seems to have acquired a certain <polish>.

Either that or a hairy reddish primate from Borneo.

Jun-05-07  Ragh: <jess> With all the rigid specifications/requirements you put up there for Wilson, I don't think anything less than non-faux will do justice to the task.

By the way, did you see my predictions below. If I reciprocate your gesture by waving Indian flag so many times as you post, then I would be conferred Bharat Ratna award definitely ;)

  jessicafischerqueen: Your predictions? No idea.

But you are wrong! <wilson> just found a pic that is so close to what I look like it kinda scared the crap outta me when I first looked at it. He's a genius, and could easily be a <Net police sketch finder artist>.

I can't put my "real pic" up for "legal reasons."

I hope ya understand

Jun-05-07  Dr.Lecter: Did you see your pic at <chessmoron>'s forum?
Jun-05-07
Premium Chessgames Member
jessicafischerqueen: Yes <doctor>. That's the third pic <Wilson> found after he put one up and I saw it didn't really look like me.

So I gave him very exact directions about what I look like, and on the third try he found someone that looks so much like me (including what she wears) that I was actually startled when I saw it.

I can't put my "real pic" online ever again.

Had a bad experience with that once, if you "catch my drift."

  jessicafischerqueen: <Elixir of Life>

I'm finished all school and work, and ready to make regular correspondence moves again.

Have you moved since I last moved?

Check our FEN, and if you have moved please re-post it.

If you haven't moved, of course, take all the time you need.

Jess

  jessicafischerqueen: <Elixir>

I found your move and have now moved <4.Bb7> and updated our FEN.

Your move!

Jun-05-07  chessmoron: <I'm finished all school and work> Grr. Our school ends on my birthday which is June 15th.

jessicafischerqueen: <Elixir> sorry that's of course

<3...Bb7>

By the way, if your opponent (me) forgets which pieces she's playing, black or white, that's a VERY good sign for you!

Let the <hypermodern war over the a8-h1 diagonal> begin!!

jessicafischerqueen: <Wilson> beware the Ides of June!!

At least you get to teach a course on Mexican film.

I saw <Pan's Labyrinth> and I thought it was quite excellent.

Jun-05-07  chessmoron: <Pan's Labyrinth> I saw it three times. Exciting. Touching. Sad. You get yourself into it as well. Damn you General Vidal! Damn you! Damn you!
Jun-05-07  achieve: <Mojo> recommended Pan's Labyrinth too and I miss him btw

G'♘ from this side of the pond!

(Glad to see you're up and running so to speak.

Cool pic of 'yours' in Wilson's)

Jun-05-07  MostlyAverageJoe: <jessicafischerqueen: ... the last time I posted ... started a BIG HONKING FIGHT>

Yeah, it was something akin to what happens at 1'45'' into http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCk0.... Or maybe even at 2'45''.

Jun-05-07  Dr.Lecter: <chessmoron> Yes, mine too! Too long to wait, but it's within my fingertips...
Jun-05-07  chessmoron: <Dr.Lecter> Rent 'El espinazo del diablo' or 'The Devil's Backbone'. It has similar scenes as Pan's Labyrinth but it was made earlier. You could say Pan's Labyrinth is The Devil's Backbone sequel.

<Jess> In my Mexican film materials, I had plans to gave students a look at 'Y tú mama También' but I opt out to show 'Amores Perros' so I won't be scolded at. Hope I picked the right choice. Heh!

Jun-05-07  WBP: <Jess> How ya' doin'? I've been otherwise engaged for two days (you know, parole officers and everything), but I think things are clearing up.

What are you teaching next year? At what level? For how long? (and so on...). Remember, students love to show their appreciation for teachers by stapling money to things they hand in.
