Jun-07-07  Ragh: J, Here's a statement that people have said it for the nth time.. Blitz is very addictive.

Why? Personal experience..
I played like a dozen games now in between our posts. Off to bed now.

Jun-07-07  achieve: <sometimes I'm in as many as <four different places> at the same time>

This is beyond me...

Hey!! <Jess>!! Do you rent all those horrible movies for FREE??

(I am looking for a BIG honking fight after yesterday's outburst of love and friendship - any suggestions?)

Jun-07-07  Ragh: <achieve> I guess, RENT and FREE don't go together.. sort of antonymns I think. I hope Pi and Plato don't listen to this statement of yours!
Jun-07-07  achieve: <Ragh: <achieve> I guess, RENT and FREE don't go together..> Wait your turn and let the young lady answer first! Good grief..

Well spotted tho.. I should have written GET i.s.o. RENT and I don't give a fly about what Pi/Plato think.

Now off to bed, <Ragh>! ;-)

Jun-07-07  Ragh: LOL <achieve>, I was just kiddin anyway. Did you ever experience the addiction of blitz? Will check your answer only tomorrow ;)
Jun-07-07  achieve: <Did you ever experience the addiction of blitz?> No, not really.. My uncontrolled anger and RAGE seem to prevent that, coz after the fit I usually end up "disconnected".

The only thing worth mentioning about mu BLITZ is that I beat a 1500+ player the other day at ICC and played near faultless..

But that is a rarity.

Jun-07-07  achieve: <Jess> As promised!!

Here is post number <<<<<<>2000>>>>>

This morning I was hinting at compensating the love and friendship, yesterday, with a BIG HONKING FIGHT.

Well, not with you in a hundred years anyway.

Thanks for emailing me Bill's summary of "THE DEBATE" - That was SO well written and hilariously funny!

Assuming you're safe asleep,
Warm greetings from the
"highest jumping Dachshund of the world" and his boss, who's straining to keep up..

jessicafischerqueen: <Niels> hello! Congratulations on the big TWO K!!!

I'm very honored that you put it in my house. Did you find a BIG HONKING FIGHT?

I have a tip next time you're looking for one.

Join the <World v Shulman> game, then post a message that has nothing to do with the game.

Then watch the fur fly!!!

That's how I got into the last HONKING FIGHT I was in.

Nobody tells me what to do.

I think <Lars> might appreciate a romp through the <Shulman> page as well, might do the rest of them a bit of good I think.

Yes, and did you catch <Bill's> hilarious "typo" a page or two back in my house? Or maybe it was <Dom's> house. Hard to keep track.

Anyhoo, it's so funny I'm going to add it to my list of "funniest posts."

Just wait till you see it!!

jessicafischerqueen: Hey! I was just kidding this time!!

Stupid "reverse psychology"...

Jun-07-07  Tactic101: No problem. Qxe7.

jessicafischerqueen: <Tactic> I knew you would play that. In fact, I know your next five moves as well.

Heh. Trying to generate counterplay on my Queenside won't save your king.

Jun-07-07  Tactic101: Okay. I'll make a deal. You recite them correctly and you win. But if you recite them incorrectly, you lose. Fair? ;)

PS: This is a joke. Thank you.

jessicafischerqueen: LOL <Tactic> you are as good as <samikd> at "Correspondence Trash Talk," which for me is at least half the fun of playing Correspondence in such an informal format.

The other half, of course, is winning.

Which is what will happen in our case.

That's ME winning, by the way.

I already know that you will move your Queen to my Queenside and threaten my <b> pawn, which I will be very happy to give up. My compensation will be ENORMOUS, the b pawn is truly poison.

or mebbe I'll just castle Queenside!!

Heh

Jun-07-07  Tactic101: Wrong! I'm not. Wanna know what my plan is? Do you? Well, first I'm going to move my.......... actually, it's a surprise! Wait and find out! I'm really good at the suspense thing, especially if I KNOW what's gonna happen! Find out soon or you're gonna be on the wrong end of stick.

PS I don't know what the heck I'm going to play. I think I'm honestly losing and I'm holding my finger over the self-destruct button. Thank you and have a nice day.

Weird, isn't it? Like a split personality.....

Jun-07-07  Tactic101: Don't look at it! Otherwise you'll know how bad I play! Mums the word. :)

Note: I really kidding. Honest. This site is nice since I get to blow off some steam and break loose a bit...

jessicafischerqueen: <Tactic> Well, time to continue flinging pieces willy nilly at your king.

jessicafischerqueen: Good grief you are good enough to have a game in the <CG.com> database?

Then I have no chance whatsoever!!

WAHHHHHHHHHH

Jun-07-07  Tactic101: You want to double my pawns. Well, I'll take the deal if you want to exchange off your queen and hence end your attacking chances. Ng6.

And now, this is where we get serious! No laughing and no smiling! Just two folks playing chess. Honestly, I had a hard time writing that with a straight face.

  jessicafischerqueen: <Ng6>??

OK You've got to stop making moves I haven't done any calculating for.

I wasted hours on you playing Qb5!!

Well, I suppose you could still play it...

Curse your flexible style!!

I hadn't anticipated you putting all your cavalry in front of your King.

KHAAAAAAN!

jessicafischerqueen: Get it? Khan! is from <Star Trek II>, and it also means "king."

HAHAHAHAHAHAH

sigh

Jun-07-07  Tactic101: Uh, no. I don't get it. I've hardly seen any movies. Mainly stuff like Star Wars and classics like Ben Hur and My Fair Lady.
