Jun-08-07  WBP: <Jess> I'm on the white team! So watch it, sister! <Although one time he said <Huh? Huh?> to me. And I heard a rumor that he sometimes says <Nit> to <old women>> Pretty tough stuff! I always knew that behind that brilliant cerebral exterior, there lurked a great trash talker in the making!

BTW. I answered your email inquiry in my house. There was really no need to ask, though I do deeply appreciate the fact that you did.

jessicafischerqueen: No worries, no worries. Now you and <Eyal> can form a <Cabal> to usher the White pieces to victory!

  jessicafischerqueen: Hey <positional> you betcha

And it's in OUR TIME ZONE so we can watch every move!!

I predict <Anand> wins Mexico, then loses to <Kramnik> in the ensuing Match.

<Kramnik> has automatic right to play a <Match> against the Mexico winner if that winner is not him.

and if <Kramnik> wins Mexico, of course, the ensuing match will be <Kramnik v Kramnik>

(not a joke- those are the real FIDO "rules")

<Topalov>, on the other hand, is not allowed to play in any important tournaments until he says

"I'm very very sorry and I promise to be a good boy next time."

Could be a long wait.

TAKE THE PAWN! TAKE THE PAWN!!

You can always castle "later."

Heh. I really don't like your chances here.

  jessicafischerqueen: <Tactic>

OK I have a new plan now, but this time I'm not going to tell you what it is (I'd make a terrible General--I gossip too much).

I play <14.Qxf6>

TAKE THE QUEEN! I DARE YA.

Ok as you posted earlier, if you think swapping queens means we are now in the <endgame>, even though both rooks a knight and a bishop each remain on the board, then I suggest you <activate your King> now.

Always a strong endgame ploy.

Just take my Queen, move your Knight outta the way, and march your King right up the <g file>.

In turn, I will activate my King and meet you in no-man's land.

Our Kings can fight to the death in <individual combat>, thus sparing the lives of the rest of our soldiers.

Just saying, in case you don't have a plan of your own yet.

Heh

  jessicafischerqueen: <Elixir> I play <5...Bg7>

According to the <Opening Explorer>, there are three possible names for our opening, depending on your next move.

Weird eh?

Please don't do that.

Jun-08-07  Eyal: <WBP: <Jess> This only seems fitting: you have me as user <WBM>!!!> I don't know if you remember, but there was a time when you were called <WSB> (jessicafischerqueen chessforum; sorry to bring up the old misunderstanding, but the error was actually quite funny at the time).
Jun-08-07  samikd: <TAKE THE PAWN! TAKE THE PAWN!! >

Ok Ok stop screaming. I will take it just because of that !

<..Qxe4>
:)

<I really don't like your chances here>

At least its better than the starting position you gave me !!

<, the ensuing match will be <Kramnik v Kramnik>>

no no ... its actually <Kramer vs Kramer> :)

Jun-08-07  WBP: <Eyal> <I don't know if you remember, but there was a time when you were called <WSB> (jessicafischerqueen chessforum; sorry to bring up the old misunderstanding, but the error was actually quite funny at the time)> Haha! yeah, I was going to track that down (I think it's on page 37 or so) and post it here as well. And it's all water under the bridge by now. (But my god, what a memory! I'd remembered that, but figured no one else did!)
Jun-08-07  Dr.Lecter: I just lost 7 blitz games in a row!

Lecter of the suck at blitz

P.S. <Kramnik vs Kramnik> I can just see what's going to happen. 1. 1/2-1/2

HA! You have fallen for the old "poison pawn" ploy!!

Allow me to demonstrate the error of your ways with my devastating retort.

I play.... Oh hell I'm going to have to do some work on this position it's giving me an ulcer.

jessicafischerqueen: <Samikd> I don't know how big your databases are, but our present position was reached before in 1920 in <Einstien v. Eisenstein>, in which Black lost a scant five moves later.

Just saying.

Jun-08-07  Tactic101: gxf6 of course.

jessicafischerqueen: <Tactic> well, you could have sacced your queen. You actually had a brilliant 75 move forced mate if you didn't retake my Queen.

I'll explain after the game.
