jessicafischerqueen: Your over there regimen sounds salubrious! Interestingly, in Canada we save time by spelling "music and poker" as "moker." Initially we spelled it "poomus" but that sounded a little too declasse, even for us...

  jessicafischerqueen: <Rah!!>

It's over now, at least in here.

Don't know <Wilson's> plan. He's at 195 now!! But for here, it's "back to normal" now.

Jun-13-07  Ragh: <Jess> Did your laptop explode into flames, like in here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvTR...

  jessicafischerqueen: <Rah!>

Heh. giggling.

nope. It has a temperature "cut off" function, it turns itself off so that it DOESN'T explode into flames. I just have to reboot.

But when it's hot out, I have to point a bloody external fan at the bottom of the dam thing or it shuts itself off every five minutes.

jessicafischerqueen: It was the <Sony> batteries in the Dell laptops that caused the explosions.

<Sony Battery is a POS> anyway, only lasts an hour when it's working.

So I just took my battery out.

Heh.

Your move, buds.

Jun-13-07  Ragh: Dell announced a massive recall of batteries manufactured by Sony last year. You should have returned yours then. May be you can still do it. You can check if your battery falls into that category using the link below.

jessicafischerqueen: LOL <Doctor> sorry I'm totally lost. I would never call you a bad name, ever.

I've totally forgotten what you are referring to, and still have no clue.

Jess of the Not Too Bright.

Jun-13-07  Dr.Lecter: You should seriously get a gameknot. I just started playing <wannabe>, and in less than a day, we're into like 6 moves. If you get one, I'll challenge you
Jun-13-07  WBP: <Dr Lecter> Yeah, I play on Gameknot on occasion, though only blitz (ten minute). It's very convenient.

BTW <Jess> As you know, I'm big into animals, and I noticed your point today in the orgiastic posting eruption concerning pandas being more closely related to raccoons than to bears. That's what I'd always thought as well, but now there is a move in some zoological circles to place them among bears (or at least more closely related to them than raccoons), this based on some skeletal things. This is quite recent, and I don't quite know where things stand in the discussion, but I'll try to find out more. And a Lesser Panda is certainly NOT related in any realistic way to a bear!

jessicafischerqueen: <Doctor> Yes, I'm looking forward to playing <MannBee> on <GAmekont>, but I has to finish the 4 I got going in my forum first.

I'd love to play you!!

So it's <MannBee> next and you on deck.

Pandas not Raccoons?

Science marches on!!

<Bill> I just sent you a brief Beemail.

WannaBe: <Dr.Lecter> Well, we're still in theory, and we play those fast. Once thinking is required... I'll slow down...=)

<jessicafischerqueen> My name on GK is WannaBeCG, I added the 'CG' because someone already had 'WannaBe' taken.

Jun-13-07  WBP: <Jess> Just sent a repsonse to your <Beemail>. Thanks.

<Pandas not Raccoons?> I'm still not sure where I stand on this. There are some other things as well. (Why is the cougar, a relatively large cat, not classified among the Great Cats [panthera], when it exceeds the size of two of them--the leopard and the snow leopard? The old argument had something to do with the ability to roar, but that's rather lame, no?)

Jun-13-07  Dr.Lecter: <wannabe> Ditto. I'm gonna be gone for some time while I'm in Moscow (about a week), but I can still play while I'm at Korea
