Jun-17-07  Ragh: I see that you are already falling into my match preparations.

Petroff is my favorite defense with black.

Jun-17-07  Ragh: Oh yeah. And take a look at this too. The same Shirov lost to Adams with Black.. Shirov vs Adams, 2001
Jun-18-07  Ragh: <cm> Hmm yes.. Your example is Petrov, Modern Attack where as the one quoted by me is Petrov, Millenium Attack.

jessicafischerqueen: Heh. I just looked at the <Cochrane Gambit>, where I sac my Knight and win 14 moves later.

This might take a little time, my dear <Ragh> I'm not just using the <Opening Explorer> for this.

I'm going to prepare properly with my super GM databases with 10,00000,000000,000000000 games in them, thanks very much.

Beware the <Cochrane Gambit, btw>.

Fear it.

jessicafischerqueen: Hey you guys, how do you make the <hyperlink thingy> for a game you find here at CG.com?

say I go to a game in our database here, what do I do to copy and paste the name-year of the game so it becomes a link that you can just click on and it goes right to the game?

Ok I'm stupid.

I admit it freely. And lazy to boot!!

Though I just spent the last 40 minutes on the Petrov opening on my <Chessmaster> <Practice Openings Tutorial>. They got a million variations listed. Just for the <Petrov>.

Seems this opening has been analyzed a lot, for some reason.

You think you are <Kramnik>? OK then I'll be <Topalov>. Watch for me to castle queenside and whup you good.

Jun-18-07  Ragh: Lol. Surprisingly, I am indeed good in trash talk, coz it looks like I already have the psychological advantage in the game.

<Jess> Please don't panic, even though the position for white seems already lost. heh.

  jessicafischerqueen: heh. Hey <Ragh>!!

Check out that <Cochrane game> I put there.

Fear it. I play <Romantic style>. Swashbuckling.

I sacrifice pieces just for the fun of it.

Fear me.

jessicafischerqueen: <Ragh> yes round one to you. But I've recovered, and now that I know how to put the <game link thingy in the box> there's no stopping me!!!

But I'm not moving till tomorrow. I'm preparing thoroughly for this.

Curse you <Ragh!!>

Jun-18-07  Ragh: Johnny Cochrane is dead in the grave, he is not gonna get you anywhere to a win in this game gal.

jessicafischerqueen: Heh. I'm heading back to the databases. I like how <Topalov> plays White against the <Petrov>.

going to go through a few dozen of those now.

Catch you later, <Wragh of Ragh>!!

Jun-18-07  Ragh: Hehe, do all the search you want in the databases, coz they better be good moves you come up with to save this game from the wrath of Khan.
