jessicafischerqueen: Your over there regimen sounds salubrious! Interestingly, in Canada we save time by spelling "music and poker" as "moker." Initially we spelled it "poomus" but that sounded a little too declasse, even for us...

jessicafischerqueen: Hmmm. Ok <Ragh> I'm ready. I like this <Modern Attack> Wilson mentioned quite a lot.

Specially since I almost always play <e4,Nc3,d4> every time anyways no matter what the other guy does.

I play the <Scotch> most of all.

So I play <3.d4>

jessicafischerqueen: Heh. By pretending to sneak off, you have already gone to bed, worried about my third move.

But I've got it in under the time control, condemning you to a night of bad dreams while I dream happily of my triumph with the <Modern Attack>.

I'm a <modern> kind of girl. I wear Jeans!!!

jessicafischerqueen: Crap I mean by ME pretending to sneak off, of course.
Jun-18-07  Ragh: A classical attack variation where Anand beat Shirov w/black (albiet in Rapids) Shirov vs Anand, 2003

J, Do you (or your chessmaster) know what is the name of the variation where the Queen is brought to the e file trying to pin the knight. But well, there's a possibility that this might be another sub-2000 level play that does not find a place in theory books and not part of Super-GMs arsenal.

jessicafischerqueen: <Ragh> I've played against <3.Qe7> before, I just retreat the Knight back to <c3>.

That move is not in our <Opening Explorer>?

Hang on I'll look in the <Chessmaster>.

Your move, bud.

jessicafischerqueen: back to <f3> I mean.

Cripes

Jun-18-07  Ragh: Yes, please do check both. Now, just to get this straight, if it is not present in neither Opening Explorer nor Chessmaster, is it possible to name that particular one as my variation in history books.
Jun-18-07  Ragh: <I like this <Modern Attack> Wilson mentioned> I see that <cm> deleted his post reg the Modern attack reference, which makes my reply to him few posts below all more funny now :)

jessicafischerqueen: <Ragh> OK I found it. It doens't say a name for it, but it is <ECO C42>.

There are ten games with <3...Qe7> on <Chessmaster>, 8 of them are by 2200+ players.

The most recent is 2002, where a 2500 guy beat a 2200 guy in 18 moves.

<Timofeev v. Phobolan>

jessicafischerqueen: <Ragh> LOL Yep, <Wilson> deleted his own posts, because he knows I looked at them already, and he doesn't want to have to start spamming again to keep ahead of me in the <most popular list>.

jessicafischerqueen: <Ragh> you are almost at 900 kibbutzes!! Does this mean we get to visit your <new forum> soon?

Then you get all the extra features, it's really great to have <premium membership>.

Jun-18-07  Ragh: <There are ten games with <3...Qe7> > These guys are using my variation even without my knowledge then. Where's the talk about copyright infringement issues!

  jessicafischerqueen: Well since I can't find a name for <ECO C42>, let's call it the <Petrov-Ragh Defence> then.

I think you should play it right now, in fact.

heh.

Jun-18-07  Ragh: J, didn't get your math right.. 849 is not equal to almost 900.
Jun-18-07  Ragh: I wanna get it before Dortmund to be able to watch the games live at work ;)

  jessicafischerqueen: <Ragh Variation> sounds better than <Timofeeb Variation>.

I suspect there is a name for <ECO C42>, and I bet a million bucks <Eyal or Dom or Niels> knows the name of it.

For all we know, it might ALREADY be named the <Ragh Variation>!!

(really-- you should play it now. It goes good after <3.d4>-- trust me)

Jun-18-07  chessmoron: <Ragh> OKAY. She is illiterate on math. 1+1=. Her answer= Window...that is how bad she is in math.

jessicafischerqueen: Well it's only 50 points away by my count. You could have 900 by tomorrow if we make our next 50 moves in our game right now, for example.

Yes, I can't wait for <Dortmund> either!!! <Anand, Anand, Anaaaaaand>!!

Jun-18-07  Ragh: I would rather prefer to have the word <Attack> intead of <variation> in the opening's name; I think, would sound good.

  jessicafischerqueen: ATTENTION:

<RAGH, SQUARES, TACTIC, DURANGO, ELIXIR> Your move, buds.

FENs are updated and ready to roll Gents.

jessicafischerqueen: What about the <Petrov Raghttack>?

Sound even cooler.

Jun-18-07  Ragh: That new opening name sounds cooler. And in reply to <50 moves in our game> in your previous post: IMHO it may not last the full 50 moves, but I shall not stop you from dreaming on.

jessicafischerqueen: Heh. I think you should play the <Raghttack> now, after <d4>. Really.

Gonna watch a video, will check in before bed.

Very fun start to our game!! I'm winning!!
