jessicafischerqueen: <Tactic> so long as the game score is correct we can fix the FEN anytime.

Very important for you to keep a separate accurate game score as well in case I make mistakes on it!!

Hang on this <Collie Dog> line I have no idea about.

You have a whole book on it?

Heh. Won't save you.

  jessicafischerqueen: Ok I'll follow <Pal Kinko's Photocopy> with this:

<1.d4 f5 2.Nf3 e6 3.c3 Nf6 4.Bg5 Be7 5.Nbd7 Ne4>

jessicafischerqueen: ROFL no wonder the FEN wouldn't update!!

I was fixing the wrong dam diagram.

Heh.

ATTENTION- My game with <Elixir of Life> is hereby SUSPENDED since he has disappeared and I'm NOT fixing the dam FEN till he comes back, if he ever does.

Let him deal with it.

jessicafischerqueen: Here is the correct game score now:

jessicafischerqueen: <Tactic> ok our game score and FEN are now correct and NO WAY I'm fixing <Elixir's> FEN till he gets back if he ever does.

I refuse!! Dam this electronic age.

I think we should start mailing letters with our moves instead.

Again, please keep an accurate game score at your end, my dear <tactic>.

For obvious reasons.

jessicafischerqueen: In my first ever Correspondence game, I kept screwing up the game score so badly <Shropshire> actually started chucking rocks at me.

All the way from Colorado!!

jessicafischerqueen: Jeez you have to love the Opening Explorer. I would never have played Ne4 in a trillion years. I wonder what's good about it?

Maybe I better actually try to figure that out!!

Hint - this is good news for you <Tactic>

Jun-21-07  Tactic101: Interesting...... I think I'm now out of the book. I can see this game quickly transposing into a stonewall. Okay. If NxN, fxe4, Bxe7, Qxe7 and black has a few trump cards. It's as though the game has gone into a stonewall with white trading on e4. After maybe Nd2, black plays d5. He has a bad bishop, sure, but he has the open f-file to use. I don't like this position much for white.

So, I play Bxe7. If Qxe7, Qc2. Vertified. All the best.

jessicafischerqueen: <tactic> interesting analysis!! Thanks, now I don't have to do any.

I'm afraid I've spent the last 40 minutes analyzing the <samikd> game.

Will get back to you a bit later.

  jessicafischerqueen: <Sammy King>

You DO realize I don't ever have to move my dark square bishop until the endgame?

I'm afraid you're in deep trouble now. Poison pawn! You took a poison pawn! So THIS is why "they" don't play Qh4 anymore.

Looks like "simple chess," as they say, from here on in.

I play <13.Re1>

Jun-21-07  Ragh: <jess> I see that you updated the fence with my latest move. Will wait for your move now.
Jun-21-07  Tactic101: I think it was f6 that was the critical mistake. Weakening the h5-e8 diagonal can't be good.

jessicafischerqueen: <Tactic> Er.. We're not "out of book" yet big fella.

<Qxe7>

Jun-21-07  Tactic101: Well, maybe not. I've never seen this Ne4 move before. Qc2.

jessicafischerqueen: <Rah!> thanks for your patience.

<tactic> <Bill> said he though <sammy's f6> was forced!! I didn't see that, myself, but what do I know?

I don't think he's in trouble yet, I think we're close to equal. But don' tell him, I'm trying to psyche him out for Cripe sake.

  jessicafischerqueen: <tactic> Qc2 is a novelty!!

Way to go man. I'll have to actually start thinking now.

We can call this <Dutch Defence, Tactic 101 Attack>.

jessicafischerqueen: <Tactic> Pal Benko played <Ne4> here, which is where I got the move from.

The game's on the CG.com database, but I'm "not telling" where.

Heee

Jun-22-07  Tactic101: Not a novelty at all. It looks quite common-place to me. This is a move that I found while reading my source material on this opening. I have my plans behind this one.

jessicafischerqueen: god dammit my "t"s aren't coming through again.

There's probably a dead ant or something under the dam key.

Curse these electronics!!

And who spilled all the pinapple juice on my keyboard!!!

Oh yah that was me.

Never mind.

jessicafischerqueen: Curse you <tactic>!! Your book is bigger than mine!!

I'm going to have to use my "brain" to respond now, so this could take awhile.

Please be patient.

Jun-22-07  Chess Classics: <Cripes I got pineapple juice on my Mouse and Keys again.> Well done, Jess. That's probably the second worst thing you could get on keys, after pure sugar water.

Regards,
CC

Jun-22-07  Tactic101: I guess you found it using the opening explorer, going deeper and deeper into the opening. I can't go that far since I'm not a premium member. Until that happy moment, I'm gonna be bashed at correspondance chess again.... and again..... and again..... and........
