jessicafischerqueen: Cripe updating these FENs is sure a lot easier when you make sure you're actually looking at the right diagram.
Jun-23-07  brankat: A Bio shorter than 3 feet would also help :-) It could be sufficient to have just the PGNs of completed games, without the FENs of final positions. Would save You at least a foot :-), and would speed up scrolling time.

jessicafischerqueen: <Branko> heh. I like them, they look like paintings to me.

Did you check out the big art show yet?

Any news on the "secret plan"?

jessicafischerqueen: Ok last move for awhile now.

<tactic> I'll attack, as usual.

<c5>

Jun-23-07  Tactic101: Interesting. I though you would play Nc6 or Nd7. I'll advance. Ne5.

jessicafischerqueen: <Tactic> the more I look at our diagram the more I like it. My pawns are coming to attack your little white pawn hat!!

A gentelman take his hat off to a lady, as you know.

jessicafischerqueen: The old <Ne5> ploy, eh?

I'll get back to you tomorrow, I'm exhausted and can't think any more today.

Good game so far!! This <Dutch> business is certainly interesting. I don't remember playing a position before that looks anything like this.

That's why chess is so great!!

Jun-23-07  Tactic101: I'm thinking of an interesting line. If you play Nc6, I answer with Ndf3 and if you play c4, Nxc6, bxc6, Bxe4, fxe4 and Ne5. Looks quite artistic. I'm certain I have an advantage here thanks to my strong knight and you bad bishop. What do you think? I'll leave a diagram.

Jun-23-07  brankat: <Jessie> Are You by any chance familiar with the user <Holden>? Probably not, otherwise You would have visited his forum already.

Just an idea. Check it out. I believe you'd like it. Yet another assignment, obligation, duty, responsibility, a DRAG. Take care, my friend.

Jun-23-07  achieve: Hi <Jess>

Last night I watched the movie "Nouvelle-France". Very gripping epos, taking place In the mid-18th Century, as England and France battle over control of Canada, and a heartbreaking romance between a peasant woman and a trapper unfurls.

I got so into it that I am going to look some into the history of "Canada". Its origins, Of which I know little..

Regardez,
YFN

jessicafischerqueen: <Niels> That is a very good movie. I've seen it a few times, they show it on TV from time to time with subtitles.

<Black Robe> is also excellent.

Oh no you guys!! These posts are about our poor <GC.com> "Player of the Day,"<G. Wood>:

<WannaBe>: How much wood can Wood push, if Wood pushed wood?

<Jim Bartle>: And if he hung a piece and lost a won game, would Wood chuck wood across the playing hall?

<tamar>: And if he played Ivanchuk in a battle of blunders, the announcers would say... How much more wood would Wood chuck if Ivanchuk would chuck wood?

<Jim Bartle>: Much better. That game is referred to, of course, as Wood-Chucky.
